If you had all the motor and wiper arms off they need to be reset/ timed up the motor has to be aligned up on the cam arm in park. Set the motor and linkage up in the car position. Then put your wiper arms on. It's quite simple to do you just need to disconnect ever thing. Turn the wiper motor on, and make sure it's turned off in park. Then fit linkage on in the park position. Then fit the wiper arms in the park position.

The spare disc I measured up are 285 x a worn 22.5mm ish presume they are the same size on my other kit as they just fit under 15's

They are anti-tamper. Need drilling or grinding off. Can alway remove the barrel separately if you don't want steering lock with it. Just put the key in turn it to first click push the pin in and pull the key out with barrel

just changed the head and got it back together again a day or so later. Reused the mls head gasket with wellseal. The valve might have just gone because of a carbon hot spot. The Pistons look pretty good still. Will re-ring soon as the bored look a bit glazed and it uses a bit of oil.

I had to mess around with my idle drew after fitting the cams. All settled down now I've done that and mapped it.

You set it up so its ative at 100% throttle. So you can still drive round normal like that.

I turned down the oem disc so it's a hub. And fits inside the fag discs. And machined a couple of mm off the caliper carriers. Re-drill caliper mounting bracket and you have a 256mm rear disc set up.

So after many miles of abuse I killed the car bank holiday Sunday. Got the car recover to my workshop on Monday morning. I started to strip the head of as the car was still running but had an awful misfire. I was fully expecting to see a melted / cracked piston. But none of that. I had burnt a valve out. I was thinking result at this time. What a nice quick fix I had to do.
Burnt out valve
So instead of just changing the one valve I opted for a rebuilt head as the old head was warn out and need the valve guides changing as well. So I stuck a spare head on with cruise cams and solid buckets with top hat shims.
Was also told my engine was built by HRF in Japan. The guy said he had the sump off and it looked stock. But when I took the head off I found this?
Far from stock I'd say lol no wonder it's got low comp. had the car back up and running Monday night. Then I broke it again and took head back off. Dropped a valve. Had it back up and running Tuesday again. Now pulling like a train again. Bit more tweaking of the afr and ignition table and will be spot on again.

So was giving the car some shit as usual last night. And it sounded like it dett'd and developed a misfire Nursed it the mile or so back home. Pulled the head off today expecting to find a nice melted/ cracked piston.
But found this
Was told the engine was built by HRF and I've not seen Pistons like that before in a 4e lol

The map sensor should go straight to inlet with an inline filter. Picture would help

Been using one for ages. Really easy to set up using the boost graph on it.

Loads of them came with a 5speed box. But not seen the 5 speeds badge before. Looks like someone's just stick it on along with the spoiler. Pretty much the same as mine but with the key on the other side of boot
