    TGTT.com

120 members joined, most like me who thought they'd at least be able to post with some sort of posting limit! don't get me wrong, i'm not bitching about the fact that members have to pay, just that we're going to lose all the ex-starlet owners with the years of knowlage they hold between them! i'm going to pay anyway, but i think it would of been a better idea to limit non-paying members to 30 posts a month or something just so we don't lose all the old members, then if people want to contribute more they can pay!

it's going to reduce quantity of members, but also the quality of infomation for sure! i'll probs bite the bullet and pay in the end because of the people i've met on there and i enjoy reading/posting on there i just don't think it's going to be the same TGTT.com that we all know and love with the bulk of members who no longer own starlets leaving!

    TGTT.com

MMmmmmmmmm..... i'm undecided atm Yes i do think it's a good idea to move to a better host and that this should be funded by the members...... BUT..... tgtt.com is going to lose soo many members and so much knowlage from the non-starlet owners who contribute, why would they want to pay to post on a starlet forum? might of been a better idea for members to pay to sell, up-load pics, have a signature, special members area, garage, and other privileges. 10euro per member, per year, hundreds of members, it's going to raise soo much money, is the hosting of the site really that expensive? load
  4. what psi you got in your tyres? what compound tyres?
  5. yeah yeah, likely story
  6. sliced my knuckle on a broken glass in Thailand back in Feb, was in the same boat, few mm's away from completly shagging the tendon! luckly i was only a shot tuc-tuc ride from the hospital where i had 2 doctors and 7 nurses waiting for me they told me to keep it dry for a week........few hours later i was 20meters underwater scuba diving i do feel for you, the next few weeks are gonna be a complete bitch when you start finding out how much your hands
  7. nice car, shame about the lexus lights, alloys and bodykit!
  8. why not thank him for pointing out that your a fucking muppet? not only did you do somthing stupid and illigal, but you posted boasting about it on a public forum that the police no doupt browse like they do on tgtt.com! i've had a black eye before, had many of them from Muay Thai, does that mean that i can call you a fucking muppet? because lets face it, you could of spent the next few years getting ass raped in prison after you knocked down a child and you wern't legally ment to be on the road with no insurance with legal cover!
  9. i've got no problem being pulled over, at the end of the day if it was someone other then me driving my car i'd be asking why they didn't pull them over for a routine check! it's funny how people are so negative towards the police until there helping to save your life after you've been in an accident/chasing the little fucker that just nicked your car/informing you that one of your family has been in an accident and rushing you to hospital/getting un-insured drivers off the road/doing CPR on the little kid that just got knocked over by some 90yr old who lost control. don't get me wrong, i've
  10. silly thread, not the type of thing you should a) be doing and b ) be bragging about on the net! to me your down there with the lowest of the low! firstly driving with no insurance, then insurance fronting and no doupt next not declairing mods. ever thought that you might be the reason why insurance is so high? why when someone you know is knocked down by a car, the car drives off? when someone writes off your GT, they don't leave a note? can a Moderator please Del. this thread as it's exacly why people have such a negative image of car enthusiasts!
  11. there's usually a group-buy that pops up on TGTT.com every now and again, around the £500 mark, then if you fit them your self you can get them set-up relatively cheap if your not sure how to do it your self!
  12. had D2's for 2 years now, and i live in the middle of nowhere surrounded by country lanes! They really arn't as harsh as people go on about, yes they are firmer then most people like but you soon get use to and fall in love with the raw-ness of the ride! besides, the new style D2's are like floating on a cloud compaired to the original spec ones
  13. surely coilovers are coilovers, especially fully adjustable ones like D2's, if there too rough for you then get some softer springs. Oop, sorry i ment UK springs
  14. This might help -->CLICKY<-- (then say thanks to Jay)
