i use some of the shittest roads everyday, single track country lanes which should of been re-surfaced years ago and with pot holes you could lose a tractor down, coilovers were the best thing i've ever used on them, end of the day if you want cumfort then buy a cushion, if you want your starlet to stay on the road and have a decent ride then get coilovers
i was waiting for it too. Fair point simon made about roll cages, but i'd rather take my chances with a metal pole then a caved in roof has always shocked me that insurance comp's charge extra for things on the car that make it safer yet these days they will give people a discount on a fake sense of saftey and something that distracts more then mobile phones...... satnav.
it's all about what they can/can't see when it comes to idiots doing things to cars! e.g when they look in the window, all they see is locks and emptyness
if someone was to smash my face in over writing 'haha' on their glass then i think they have a few more issues going on in their head that need professional help! ;)
subtle sleepers are the was forward ;) never had any bother really, always make sure people can see there's nuthing in my car, glove box open, visors down, then yellow locks & alarm L.E.D's flashing to be fair if i'd seen a car with a bodykit (not to my taste) i'd of probs written 'haha' on your window too, can assure you thats not out of jelousy
