you honestly can't be that clueless about cars? can you? look at the size of his fmic, you've got a tiny tmic ontop of a hot engine, his car can do doughnuts.......yours can't besides, his 14secs was nothing compaired to your 2mins ;)

i wasn't going to post again, but some of you just talk so much shit i wanted to clear a few things up, what don't you understand about engines needing running air from the car moving to cool the engine down? was the red starlet hitting the limiter and changing gear or sitting on the limiter in 1st/2nd for 18sec-2min with no flowing air? again, your not understanding the concept that when a car is moving, be it sideways round a round about or on a track air is flowing into the intercooler and engine bay to keep the engine cool, so yes that would be why people do that for fun insted of ac
-
have you spoken to Jay? he might be able to help you out!
-
don't see many 2 min burnouts bouncing off the limiter highly tuned skyline's don't have a tiny tmic/rad/fan/filter located at the back of the bay! anyway, your back pedaling and as shell said we're going around in circles. said my 2p. x
-
sitting on the limiter for 2mins with no cool air freely flowing through the cooler/filter as it would if your were racing at speed is the main thing i'm trying to put across! how many rolling roads you see with no fan? as you said it's your car, i was just saying most people have more respect for glanzas then skidpanning round a carpark!
-
pushing and pulling from the weight of the rear freely being able to glide past and putting all the strain on the front!
-
2mins of hitting the limiter with insufficient air-flow to cool the engine. excess force when the weight from the back of the car is being transfered all into the front geometry of the car which is on full lockto lock and being pushed and dragged in all directions in the name of fun. when the trays ware down and the tyre finally touches the tarmac the sideways force to the rear would not help your axle in the slightest! i'm sure those more tech. minded then me would also be able to highlight other ways 'fun' can cause damage

yeah it is fun, but in a banger, doing it in something like a glanza/GT. just shows how little respect you have for your car! i drive my car hard, but on the road/track, not in a carpark to post up on the internet. yes we've all been there and done it, i was just shocked to see a glanza doing it, as if it dosn't cost enough when things go wrong on their own!
-
fair game for glanzas & they do 35mpg
-
because videos like that on youtube make more little chavs go out and buy a Glanza so they can go street racing with their mates and crash into things, each other, kids! wouldn't think a 200sx doing that would be cool, would just think he's an idiot for wasting rubber and putting unnecessary strain/ware on his car!

so thats why my insurance premium went up this year what were the sparks anyway? the rims where the tyres were under-inflated or some type of tray under the back wheels with the HB on?
-
nice shoot, only thing that lets that valva corsa down is the halfords alloys with the gloss finish!
-
congrats (feel free to edit this post to practice )

i'd say your best off with NGK Iridium Spark plugs. heat range 7. from here not sure on your piggyback, any pics/more info?
-
sorry to hear it mark! true what they say, 'if its not bolted down....'
-
obviously to put a miss-match fiberglass body kit on it, smother it in filler & halfords mesh, set of neons and a PHAT I.C.E install to go Kroozin' with yours mates reving it up through town so people know you've got a dump valve..... ......or because your a car enthusiast who cares about preformance and keeping your car well serviced, over stuck on tat and you would rather others didn't see starlets as replacements for their Rude saxo's increacing insurance for others when they crash 'streetracing' and giving starlets bad rep. with the police
-
people can't seriously like that? maybe 6years ago when that kind of stuff was original! anyone with a Glanza/GT wanting one of them has obviously got a starlet for all the wrong reasons! almost brings me to my knees with laughter with i see one of them silly fiberglass kits on cars these days!

was the skyline a pretty colour?
-
before you think about going faster, can you stop well?, can you take corners fast? should always up-grade brakes and handling before thinking of going faster, for obvious reasons! when thats sorted, full de-cat system, bored gastegate...... then save to get things done propperly, fmic, manifold, bigger turbo, relocate air filter, power FC..etc ;)
-
yeah toby's sounded savage on tues night ;)
