To be honest mate its all down to the engine management and the map whether its good or not but if set up and mapped properly I would say yes they would handle that with no problems. Theres a guy on tgtt running 5efhe rods at 1.6 bar of boost without any prblems. Neil

I would defo say high compression as I have had a 5e highcomp with td04 at 1 bar and made 275bhp easily and very reliable. Also very very lively off boost and spools the turbo up sooner, sounds better aswell in imo. Cheers Neil

Just to add, the bearings were replaced when the gearbox was built, they were genuine Toyota bearings and the box has covered no more than 6000 miles since being built and the diff installed Thanks.

You are correct sir, you wouldent know that the diff was there until you plant the foot down and it just grips!
