Will u be using a half size rad mate? I was told to get a full size alloy one for better cooling but if i was to ever get a turbo kit like yours surely ud have no choice but to use a half sized one?

haha, my crank was damaged so had to source a 5E crank lol turned out it had been reground then i had to wait for undersize bearings! just hope theres no more set backs now tbh ive been so tempted to go and buy a DC2......

i bet you cant mate, my 5E has been off the road for ages too, should be done in the next month or so. Wish i had spent the money and got a Garret turbo instead i got a cheap TD05 18G. Its costing me an arm and a leg as it is though lol ive got a custom spec head going on so can always change the turbo in the future :-) need a uprated inlet mani and 3" exhaust as you mentioned in the thread. I've got a 2.5" so should be ok i think until i decide to run more power :-) Should be around 330bhp @ 1.4 bar with the setup im going to be running anyway :-)

Undersize bearings have arrived :-) just waiting for the head to come back from the machine shop and its just a matter off assembling the engine and running it in and mapping :-) Hopefully this wont take long, been off the road for about 6 months now :-(

It had been reground mate the standard size bearings were no good and had to wait for undersize bearings to be delivered

Im in the same predicament buddy, soon as i pay for the work to be done im saving for a inlet mani and 3" exhaust and il have to drive there again :/ the ACL bearings arrived yesterday mate and the head is in the machine shop as we speak :-) hopefully i shouldnt have no more set backs now lol its been off the road for almost 6 months!! I should have it back for the Welsh lads RR day so will be good to meet up again :-)

I ran a JAM ECU on my 5E butty, if i was you id buy an emanage ultimate for the same price thats what i have done, if your forging your 5E too your going to be running higher boost. I ran 1.3 bar on my JAM ECU and if u look on my build thread you can see where the top of the piston was detting from where the ECU wasnt fuelling it properly

Yeah mate literally hundreds! Everyone parks on each side and people drag race down the middle haha!!! I've had a few races down there, its just too dangerous though when its busy because cars pull out lol gonna get my launch control out up there soon

Lol i used to go alot, got dangerous though people flat out racing and cars pulling out and crashing into eachother :/ i heard police have closed it now though because of another big crash a few months back...... Obviously a few people still meet down there
