Cheers guys ⬆️ 😊😊 Little update, brought some mesh for the front bumper to keep the stones etc from ripping the rad apart been fetlin with the front bumper abit to get it sitting nice, and got the wrapped fogs fitted at last These turned up today finally too Will be out there fitting more bits tomorrow 😊😊

The boot carpet was much larger but so thick so helps for sound, I just laid out the original carpet on top and cut around it, made some holes for the securing tabs and bobs your uncle 👍🏻👍🏻 looks so much better than the standard one, plus found a space saver to go in the boot so will fit that tomorrow and it should all lay nice and flat in there 😊

Rear seats and trim in finally after treating all the inner rear quarters and inside the sills

Managed to get my b pillar bars in tonight, not sure if I'm sold on the idea of them yet but will see what happens Boot floor cut out from a ford cougar 👍🏻 Original speakers updated to pioneer units and painted the grills whilst they were out Wiring for the front fogs tucked away, just waiting to take the bumper home

Had some spare time do managed to get back on it today 👍🏻 Fitted the front fog loom all wired in and tested ok My ocd is always off the scale when I know I only have 1 reverse light so wired up the other side so now have 2 😎 I fitted hid's on my last starlet but just didn't rate them at all, the beam image was all over the place and there was no after light etc, plus all the extra wiring and stuff just puts me off, so after some research and reading and talking to some people I decided to go with some osram nightbreakers, fitted them and you can see the difference between these and a standard h4 bulb, can't wait to try these out on the road Fitted the rear seats and made a new boot carpet from a ford cougar today too, will get some pics up tomorrow

Going to pop up there tomorrow to see how it's coming along but it all seems pretty good. The trick is finding a reputable person to do it, plus it's not cheap either. Cheers buddy, at least you show an interest 👍🏻👍🏻

I brought the centre console like it but have lots of other bits done from a new company in the island, should be picking them up soon, should all tie in together when it's all fitted 👍🏻

Not managed to get out in the garage much lately as been doing bits to my house but managed to get the alarm all wired up, the stereo with reverse camera fitted and installed, Got my k&n panel filter fitted, N/a timer and volt meter installed, Completely sound deadened the boot, Fitted all rear interior panels, Crystal headlamps fitted, Gear knob fitted, And fitted my dials Few pics below, hopefully should get out there next week and do some more bits, Waiting to paint the tailgate but just hanging around for the windscreen guy to come and take the glass out so I can get round to finalising the painted section

Thank you guys, it's been a long time coming but glad with progress. Itching to get out there and keep going, been a while since its been in 1 peice, I was out there from 6-2am last night 😂 Got quite a bit to sort through 😮 But ended up with this as of early hours of this morning

Well it's all done, am well happy with the result, the light at the end of the tunnel is looking a bit brighter now it's home again and I can crack on building it back up My buddy 😎 The colour is lush Home it goes 😃😃😃

I know the feeling, I was trying to get all the bits out of the corners and stuff, I wanted to change the filters but apparently they wern't Long done. Was such a long night, will get some pictures up asap 👍🏻

Few updates, been so busy with my license exams but been working a few evenings to get some progress done She'll is now ready for paint finally Carbon surround, just need the switch ones, or will dip them locally Back panel painted and done 👍🏻 Booth swept out within an inch of its life 😂

Cheers guys, I know sr's only come in limited colours etc but as it's staying relatively stick in the outside I think I'll get away with it, End of the day it will be a sr, a 1 off and it will be completely restored 👍🏻👍🏻

First start on the shell last night

I originally wanted a silver one but this was the only one around at the time, but yea hopefully it will look the part for sure, be nice to see an sr in a different shades am thinking maybe white and red decals I think or could go for original, will have a look once the paint is on the shell 👍🏻
