My buddy had a problem like this in his corolla and it was down to a relay had failed

Ask him please I need my car on the road now, and set a date with him it needs to be done by like just say 2 weeks max, I wouldn't break it till to get it back and enjoyed driving it again then your know if you wanna keep it or break it
Unfortunately i have tried that aswell back in last august I went down and had a meeting with him and told me 20th of september the has to be done i need it gone out of my yard his wife booked holidays for the 12th so it wasn't done for then I no I delayed it a bit cause the first week of october the timing belt snapped in my girlfriends altezza as much as i didnt want to give him the job I knew he would be able to sort it cheaper we only got her car back about two weeks ago.
I'm going to try and get down there this week if i can the only balls is its 80 miles down and 80 back home

There is nobody else here in ireland that i'd trust to map it plus i've put all the money i have in to it i don't have money to give anybody else to finish it
-
Right where do I start. Well i've been trying to get my glanza finished for a long time the problem I have is the mechanic building the car is pushing on in age now
I'm not sure if he even wants to finish the car I keep being told that theres only a weeks worth of work left on it but to me he keeps coming up with excuses as to why hes not working on it.
So do I wait and try and finish it if it gets finished it should be a serious car with power figures over 400bhp at the moment I haven't driven the car in over two years
My other idea I have is to try and break the car there is a lot of very good parts in the car and to be honest i'm sick of not having something outside my door the main question I have is there still people out there that want to buy parts like engines, gearboxes, ecus, turbo kits if i can get enough interest i might consider breaking it
Any advice appreciated
Cheers

I have a question about putting up a post and just want to run it by one of the moderators first to make sure everything is ok and I don't cause any hassle
Who would be the best person to direct my question to?

Savage looking car nice buy

I had this problem before and I was told it was the clutch disk and that it wasn't straight like there was a bend in it if that makes sense the mechanic told me to drive it for awhile and see it should go out of it as the clutch wears down but if it didn't that the clutch would have to be changed. I was lucky enough that it did go out of it about a month after I had it in 1st and reverse. the only other thing I can think of is check the timing and the fuelling of the engine

if you still have these after Christmas ill take them they are exactly what I was looking for a few months ago they would come up a month before christmas

MINT I would love one

Be careful with the length of the pipes long pipes can cause a drop in pressure so I was told by my engine builder

Right my girlfriend has been having some really bad luck lately one such moment was the timing belt snapping on her altezza. I'm hoping that someone out there might know someone or put me in contact with someone that has a 4 cylinder beams head I'm being told by my engine builder who we brought the car to that the buckets are damaged they go in where the valves are he needs 5 or 6 of them. We are searching the country here for parts and cant find anything its like these engines have just disappeared. If anyone can help it would be hugely appreciated.
Cheers

Need help to get my car on the road

Hi,
My car has been off the road for over two years now mainly because my td04 turbo was on the way out so i opted to go for a garrett gtx 2863r turbo which was only after been released at the time I also went for the wepr ss top mount manifold.
The main problem I have is the person who is doing it for me isnt finishing it and i cant wait for the car any longer I really down want to break it as i've put too much into it and plus i really want it back but its not been worked on and I cant get him to work on it.
So what im hoping for is to get some info on weather there would be anybody that would take it on to finish it.
What i've been told is there is only a weeks worth of work left in it im not 100 percent sure on that thats just whats hes told me. What I do know is that the ecu needs to be wired in and a swirl pot fitted and fuel lines ran.
The spec on the car is:
Fully forged 5e cp pistons and lola con rods i've never heard of these rods before but the fella that built the engine swore that they'll take 600hp all day
Mahle clevit race bearings
I think a 2mm head gasket not sure on that
Wepr intake manifold
Injector dynamics 1000cc injectors
Uprated fuel rail
Uprated oil pump
Running individual coil packs from a trigger wheel and crank position sensor
A quick pick of the turbo set up I didn't have wepr intake at the time
The ecu is a Megasquirt ms3 pro x full stand alone with anti lag and launch control its even suppose to have traction control and a self mapping feature.
Basicly what im looking for out of this car is 400hp all day long and 2bar of boost there was no expense spared when the engine was built.
But the problem I have is if it goes to someone else will they stand over the mapping of the car I know the engine can handle the power but if the map is crap and it melts a piston or breaks a con rod i cant afford to fix it again.
So does anybody have an idea what cost im looking at to get my car back on the road or anybody that would take it on
Cheers
Graham
