  2. Sounds mint!!
  3. Thats cool
  4. Anybody got a link for that video? I haven't seen it
  5. I'd be for the rainsports as well the girlfriend has them on her altezza and there a fantastic tyre plus camskill do a good price i think well there €130 a tyre here in ireland there doing them for €56 that was for 18's tho plus they lasted a long time. she doesn't do any messing with the car and i think the back tyres lasted 2 years and the front are still perfect so they wear good
  6. That looks class I'm quite liking that gold intercooler aswell
  7. Ya I delighted with it now to be honest. I had a problem with the intake manifold I got from wepr apparently my head has a water port and I didn't know this when ordering the intake so I had the get it sorted so it covers the hole properly and doesn't leak. at the moment the fans are being wired up to the ecu and a wideband lamda is being set up it could be another few weeks before shes on the road I'm just glad to see some progress
  8. Some of you may remember me or may be not. But a few months ago I put a post up about maybe breaking my car as it wasn't getting finished as fast as I would like. Well I few days ago while lying in bed about to go to sleep I get two videos sent to me out of nowhere http://vid1189.photobucket.com/albums/z427/grum-glanza/Mobile%20Uploads/trim.DF6C643C-85A5-4B31-9444-3A7547D69B27.mp4 http://vid1189.photobucket.com/albums/z427/grum-glanza/Mobile%20Uploads/trim.340855CC-BAE6-4FB1-9B60-34B490C56041.mp4 The first video is the first time the car has been started in 4 years and was running on a totally different setup, its now running on a full stand alone mega squirt ecu. The second video is just the computer mega squirt software. The feeling is similar to a father holding his new born child Cheers Graham
  9. Cheers for the replies it maybe an option to look into im planning to have over 400hp in my starlet i'd imagine it would be a cheaper option then a dog box if money was no option i'd have that in the morning
  10. That picture is unreal I have to get one of them myself some day
  11. I had one in my car for awhile was a very short ratio now it was savage going from 30 to 100 but driving it everyday was a it of a pain in 5th cruising at 60 im sure the revs were up over 3500 rpm
  12. Has anybody tried using these I heard they will take 500hp. Im hoping my car should be finished in a few weeks I should be seeing over 400hp I cant see me being able to keep a gearbox in it more than an hr i'd say seeing as I havent driven the car in four years. If anyone has done it how hard is it to get in there and rough cost of switching it over? Cheers Graham
  13. Thats brilliant i'd love to enter something like that you would have some laugh
  14. Has anybody out there in starlet land got an injector harness for an emanage blue I have a buddy here in cork that needs one badly he has a wedding coming up and needs the car to be ready for it any help would be extremely appreciated Cheers Graham
  15. Excellent Ive a gtx2863 on my car and i was hoping to break 400hp my tuner is planing on running it at 2.2 bar so it looks like I should make it. Is it 95ron fuel your car is running or e85?
  16. What boost were you running to make the 412hp?
  17. I've seen this pop up a few times on facebook the thing is mint I think
  18. Hahaha this is a cool post, I think my most common fault is forgeting to put the oil cap back on and driving fairly flat out for about 5 or 6 miles. I'm using common in that sentence because it may of happened again
  19. I'm kinda in the same boat as you mate. My car has been off the road over two years now in a garage 80 miles away I know what ya mean about the stress of it. I'm in two minds about mine as well weather to break it or not I got to see it the other day and the fella that has it is after doing a bit of work on it so I'm kinda excited again I think you should stick with it there a fun car and its funny when you piss all over faster cars
  20. I bought mine off 034 motorsport in california I think they were cheapest I could find plus at the time they had the back housing I wanted for my turbo they also reduced the price on the invoice so I wouldn't get caught for import tax and duty
  21. Got it sorted lads thanks
  22. Anybody else getting really annoying pop up ads when they try to do anything on the site or is it just my computer?
  23. I didnt think cit take in road cars I thought it was just rally cars they do, as for wcp had a very bad experience there before so i wont be going back there
  24. Ya im living in cork Ireland im willing to bring the car anywhere in the uk as long as i get a reliable car thats not going to melt pistons or bend rods when the boot is put down. I did get a txt today from the fella that has the car asking me to come down on monday so we'll see how that goes i'll have a better idea where i stand with it
  25. Hi, My car has been off the road for over two years now mainly because my td04 turbo was on the way out so i opted to go for a garrett gtx 2863r turbo which was only after been released at the time I also went for the wepr ss top mount manifold. The main problem I have is the person who is doing it for me isnt finishing it and i cant wait for the car any longer I really down want to break it as i've put too much into it and plus i really want it back but its not been worked on and I cant get him to work on it. So what im hoping for is to get some info on weather there would be anybody that would take it on to finish it. What i've been told is there is only a weeks worth of work left in it im not 100 percent sure on that thats just whats hes told me. What I do know is that the ecu needs to be wired in and a swirl pot fitted and fuel lines ran. The spec on the car is: Fully forged 5e cp pistons and lola con rods i've never heard of these rods before but the fella that built the engine swore that they'll take 600hp all day Mahle clevit race bearings I think a 2mm head gasket not sure on that Wepr intake manifold Injector dynamics 1000cc injectors Uprated fuel rail Uprated oil pump Running individual coil packs from a trigger wheel and crank position sensor A quick pick of the turbo set up I didn't have wepr intake at the time The ecu is a Megasquirt ms3 pro x full stand alone with anti lag and launch control its even suppose to have traction control and a self mapping feature. Basicly what im looking for out of this car is 400hp all day long and 2bar of boost there was no expense spared when the engine was built. But the problem I have is if it goes to someone else will they stand over the mapping of the car I know the engine can handle the power but if the map is crap and it melts a piston or breaks a con rod i cant afford to fix it again. So does anybody have an idea what cost im looking at to get my car back on the road or anybody that would take it on Cheers Graham
