Basically I have put a manual gearbox on my auto glanza. Everything that will plug in is plugged in, but it will wont turn over or start. I am left with 2 plugs in the engine bay that used to go onto the auto box and will no longer plug in anywhere. And there are 2 plugs where the gear selector used to be that now have nothing to plug into. All I can think of is that the car thinks that it isn't in 'park' so will not turn over. Any help is massively appreciated folks.. Cheers!

So finally got round to the manual conversion. We got the engine out last sunday and the new box fitted this sunday. All is going to plan at the minute with the most difficult part being mounting the clutch slave cylinder through bulk head, has to be drilled out. Quick couple of snaps with the auto box still on. It was crazy the size and weight difference between the box's. Engine is back in just need to get it linked up and hopefully running by the end of the week. Excited!

How many miles can I expect to get out of the spec clutch?

do you have the release bearing aswell? any photo's of the friction surface side on?

Im doing my manual conversion and its time to choose a clutch. I have been offered both of these second hand with very little mileage:... Exedy 3 paddle stage 3 or Spec 6 puc stage 3.. I had an exedy 3 paddle in my last glanza and really liked it. How does the Spec 6 compare to this? Any views are welcomed..

Easy peesy mate. Faux suede off ebay, spray adhesive and heavy duty staple gun. Strip them down to the three different parts. stick the fabric to the card. staple the back. Took me an hour for each card :-)

Productive evening. . Recovered those hideous door cards ready for the recaro's. Before and after.

unfortunately its way back on the list of thing to do but it will be getting sorted at some point. cheers budd! I have those rotas but have been shoddy painted all black, look decent with the chrome lip, i may have to rub them back now lolI have to admit I wasnt the bigest fan of the rotas when I got her but they have grown on me! Gotta be done right this time lol, the last one didnt get enough attention. I think im going for a change on the front end at some point. I need some carbon!! Lol

I bought a pair of headlights from him. When I asked was anything wrong with them he said 'no nothing is broken' they turned up with half the lugs broken. I paid for them tuesday and he did not send them untill friday, he said he could post them straight away. I asked for a partial refund he said ok but since then has ignored me.

Do not buy from this guy! He lied about the condition of parts, is supposed to be refunding me but is just ignoring me now. He should be banned!
