  1. i spoke to a guy at Atspeed in rayleigh but he really wasnt interested unless i had aftermarket engine management, when i told him my setup he just said "no matter what u do u will always hit fuel cut unless you have some proper management" which i know hes got the right idea aftermarket management is the way to go but doesnt mean rrfpr and fcd wont be effective also if its setup correctly which is kinda why i rang him ???

  2. My afr was waaaay too high (lean). Would say get a wideband on it before you turn up the pressure though because yours might be the opposite. It's a very hard guessing game is fuel pressure unfortunately. Mines not spot on but it's 14 on normal driving and 11-12 on boost , and it pulls fine now with no misfiring or flat spots :)

    surley i can just go to a (not so fussy) tuners and they can tell me my afr and rectify any iregularitys ?

  3. i am running my glanza at 1 bar i have a rrfpr set at 3.1bar and a hks fcd set at 9 but not decatted as yet (but i do have one), i know im gonna get get people saying get it rolling roaded and that, which i am in the process of doing but i wanna get my last few mods before hand.

    anyway back to the problem at hand i had been hitting fuel cut and it was bringing up the the engine management light so i changed the fcd as i suspected a faulty fcd but now with new fcd fitted im getting no engine management light but still the ocassional jolt hinting its still hitting fuel cut.

    my question is my fuel pressure to low or is something else at fault i.e no decat ??

    just dont wanna pay for a rr and waste the session if you get what i mean

  4. Any measured temp differences? Cool to the touch means sweet f all...

    Any one got any figures of how much quicker boost comes on with an arc? Ie 200revs etc?

    No one has to butcher the bumper ^ using a massive core is pointless get a smaller core and your done

    When you say a smaller core are you tralking along the lines of this size ?

    Core size: 540mm x 140mm x 65mm

    would it be possible to fit this without any cutting of the bumper and no moving of the reg plate ?

  5. i run a top mounted rx7 intercooler at 1 bar on a toy tuning ct9 hybrid and i have no problems at present, but i do totally see why a fmic would be better but its just purely the butchering of the front bumper is my one and only reason to not go fmic !

  7. Was the inside lane empty?? If so, learn to drive. You drive in the left lane and move out to overtake. You shouldnt be sitting in that lane. That sorta thing pisses me off no end.

    Also, have you got HIDs?

    hold on hold on there was nothing on the road and he was tailgating me who side are you guys on !!

    and i did move over and no i dont have HIDs

  8. Bit of a crap rant really. What did you do after he said your full beam was on? Nothing so he assumed you'd left your full beam on still? But still let you carry on down the road?

    Bit confusing.

    yeah my thoughts exactly i just said thanks officer,did nothing to my lights and let him go round the roundabout first then carried on home, dont get the point of it ? :wacko:
