If you get a new ecu you wont need a fcd or rrfpr because the ecu will alter the fueling automatically

detox is very good stuff, cleans the fuel system and injectors etc,
i would put some of that in aswell once you done plugs

bleed valve will be the cheapest and easiest way, get one that you can lock it in place once adjusted so nobody can fiddle with it whilst your not looking lol :angry:

the quickshift kits are brilliant ive heard very good things about them. Im getting one myself when i can afford it LOL :angry:

yeah if it stays on all the time you got a fault with the engine management. Needs to be looked at with diagnostic equipment that only toyota will have (thats if they can use it on the jap imports)
Go to your nearest toyota garage and ask them

hang on a minute you say you have lost half the power and the dump valve sound different, and also the light for low boost is on, maybe because you have got it on low boost, switch the button to high boost then see if its still half the power LOL

Sounds like you got some kind of boost leak, which is prob why the dump valve sounds different because you havent got as much pressure. You need it looked at more closely.
As for the "On the two mode turbo dial on the dash a "low" light has lit up." thats standard mate, it lets you know what mode you are on, when you switch to high boost the light goes out

Its over boosting and the ecu is cutting the fuel, it gives it a misfiring effect. turn the boost down a tad and it will cure it, if it doesnt then you need to start looking at some uprated leads(if you havent already got them) could also be plugs
it will only do it in 5th gear probably because thats it maximum load
