    Yeh i didnt wanna touch the clutch and throw it out of balance... A few mm off bell housing wouldnt hurt

    Caused by my spec clutch... 2.5inch in all the way round.. ground down now fine

    When fitting mine it slipped over the clutch and on in the spline perfect... Put everything together.. Turned engine over by hand and could feel a tight spot/grinding noise...

    I had that trouble.. ended up cutting the ribbed bit off the bottom outlet.. still took alot of effort but went on in the end..

    Got my mate who built the engine coming to inspect tommorow.. So ill have a look when he's there... Cheers lads... Much gotta be taken off?

    May be the answer to my question. Illlook into that tommorow then... Just fitted engine into new shell.. had bottom end checked, and new clutch fitted... And its now developed tight spot when tryna turn over by hand...
