See I knew ther was sumone making crap power on one of them it could be sumthing else up with his set up if he's not far from you go and try it on your car if he's sure the ecu works 100% he shouldn't have a problem with this

I'm sure ther was another guy on here that was having problems with one try it on your car first if you can mate that's what I done when I got my mines 300 is very cheap but it's not cheap if it's fuckd or not working as it should

Plug and play ecus are a good up grade I've never had a buddy club is it the brack box one? I saw a post on here not long ago about sumone that was running one and made very little power on the rollers have a search about on the forum I'm sure sumone is running a buddy club

It's a cool little car it's being collected next weekend the guy thats bought it is from up near Nottingham wer I bought the car fs had loads of people calling me about it as I put it up on the daihatsu owners club bloody phone hasn't stoped all weekend but the guy made me a good offer and he seems like a nice bloke so I said I'd hold on to it for him he's going to use it for amateur hill climb

I'm sure you don't need to re shell it can you not just apply for a uk reg tell them you the doc,s got lost in the post or sumthing ther is bound to be a way round it even try and contact the dvla in Ireland as they will have the car on ther system I'm sure they could send you out a replacement v5 even speak to some if the Irish boys on here they mite be able to tell you how to go about getting new docs

Few people on here asking y it's so cheap n that just so people know it's only on ukso for 900 I was lucky anuf to get the car for 900 and I've got the recite her to show anyone and I wouldn't have even found the car If russ78 didn't put a post up about it so that's y it's on here for the same price it's on eBay and daihatsu owners club for 1500 ;)

I know mate It really is a great little car I just want a project and this isn't really sumthing I would take on as a project car as it's mint and I don't wanna mess around with it but from a few things I've saw on the net the auz boys have got some very impressive results from these on standard engine seem they came with sum sort of forged bottom end

Fire them an email mate ther really helpfull can get anything not just wheels..it's just a bit crap them being in Ireland because you gotta pay extra for the postage to the uk

I've done a bit of digging around on the net and managed to find out a bit of info on them. its a 1.6 8v 124bhp from the factory and came with a factory fitted lsd ive never drove a car with an lsd before and its awesome in this car. This isn't going to be a big power build mate it's just sumthing a bit different tbh I'd be happy with a 200 bhp n/a starlet if I was looking alot of power I'd prob just get another gt and go that way instead of swapping engines n stuff this isn't going to be a like a sporty Iooking one mite even put it in a 5 door haha I want a sleeper

Mmm k20 would be good tho expensive for the car seems to work out better to buy the hole car and do the swap the point of me doing this one was because I know wer a 190 is going cheep that has been hit in the rear and I've found a place that can make me the mounts and shafts as they have done it before they say the can even make me brackets to make the brakes fit
