the alternator is like that because it came out from my old engine, oil want leaking then , if block is cracked can it be fixed or not?

No mate its forged And wasn't cheap so if anything wrong with engine I may break and leave the starlet scene which i don't want to as I love my glanza Been told might be cracked block from mounting point? What everyone think sorry some pics are not v good quality

okay mate, if i look at bottom of mount i can only see one nut or something there. okay i will do , just want to know about the oil coming out mainly, could it be a pipe is there a pipe that carries oil that could have got torn , something has gone through bottom timing cover as fast i can see i can see the bottom pully.

its had an engine change recently. it just about the oil where its came from. im going to have to take pics tomorrow as i cant get to the car now

no dont say it mounts to block it may have broke its the the actual mount on the chassis leg and the top timing cover is leaning on the actual mount do you think it could have broken off the engine, or the bolts come loos/snapped, at the timr it happened it was on a bumpy road

also noticed the part of the mount is gone through bottom timing cover, and mount maybe broken cant see it properly but looks like oil dropped down from back of engine somewhere

Need aux belts. Engine mount driver side with the bolts too.or maybe just the two bolts that go ontop will have to find out. Only need if my engine is okay depending where it blew all oil out from.

Anybody got the two bolts for driver side mounting

Yes may have , the engine mount toward driver side has only one bolt coming through the bottom, I had it parked an oil was dripping on floor toward drivers dtiveshaft side maybe the last few drops were rolling dwn there that's why

Hey all Something wierd happened to my car today. It was making funny noise so I pulled over and opened bonnet and engine was sitting at a slant towards drivers side.and smoking oil was everywhere drivers side so immediately turned it off left it for a bit and oil only like 3mm on dipstick. Also noticed the aux belts are snapped and the alternator is also covered in oil all underneath of car is oily drivers side passenger side is clean. Rocker cover is clean too its near inlet and all pipes there covered in oil. Sump is okay too no hole or anything oil filter oily too

i know probably been asked million times but i see all different views on this but how and best way is to set up oil catch can? , also catch can with or without filter? i have pcv valve and breather atm cheers
