Hey guys. Just a quick question regarding the PCV valve on the rocker cover! Basically when i went td04, i put my catch can on at the same time, so obviously thought id be the cool guy and i ran the hose off the PCV and off the breather (like normal).. But the car was smoking ALOT, so i searched it up on youtube and came across a video of a 240sx having the same problem, and someone said change it back to normal (i.e connect the PCV to the inlet mani like normal) and it will stop smoking. Now first of all i thought it was smoking as a result of something else inside the engine as the oil seals had gone in my ct9 turbo, thus - oil in baffles creating even more smoke as you can imagine. BUT, and here is the bit i need to know really - I've seen a lot of people just bung up the unlet mani side and run a hose off the PCV to the catch can, pretty much like i had it.. Except mine was smoking :s, something to do with it circulating and not ACTUALLY breathing (i think) then it just goes back out the exhaust creating the smoke. Do i have to run a pipe coming off the inlet mani to the atmosphere allowing it to breath? Cause i just had it bunged up with a bolt. So i just wana know basically how the fuck can i run a PCV, AND 2 hoses off my rocker to my catch can without it smoking........ Cause i'm puzzled. Cheers.
