Oh nice one mate! Will have a look in a min. Awsome bro thanks so much, i'll report back!
-
That is interesting. You know on the link in the pic it arrows to where the diagnostic check connecter is (by the battery), i've never ever seen that before in my engine bay? :s
-
O RLY! Yep stock ecu and i don't have an fcd due to wireing problems from the previous owner who is some sort of fucking retard and cut all my wires on the loom so can't fit an fcd (eml light comes on and idles like SHIT when the yellow n white wires are connected on the fcd). AWSOME!!! I'll read the link now. Cheers man.

FML. EML light comes on sometimes when i properly put my foot down in 3rd 4th or 5th hard. Doesn't fuel cut, the EML just pops on then goes back off if i turn the engine off then back on. Coolant is full and oil level is full.. What the hell can it be!? Nothing visually wrong with anything in the engine bay that i can see, really bugging me though cause i don't want to push it when the EML comes on. HELP.

Yeah man. Haha na, basically just a thing that says 'like' on the right hand side just above the quote feature?

As said in the title, how bout a 'like' button on each post? Just like facebook i guess so people can like funny posts, things that are helpful etc etc. We have a 'like' button over on civiclife and i think it's pretty cool. Just thought id put it out there!

I hear you brothers. So getting oil around the PCV is ok and nothing to worry about yeah? I don't mean oil pouring out, i mean little enough to consider it as lubrication lol. My engine is healthy, only on 75k miles, all lovely and clean under the rocker, everything is nice and shiney with dabs of oil on the lobes and stuff as it should be. Plugs don't get gunked up with oil n none of that shiznit.

Looking good Lew!

Yep that's exactly how mine is except on the can i don't have a filter, mines just vented. That's ok then, just wanted to double check i was doing it right! I took off the hose that connects the pcv to the inlet and the pcv was pretty damn oily, is that normal? And DANNNNNNNG that engine bay is sexy! Love his build up thread. Insane car.

True! But won't SOME of it re circulate? Then it's just pointless in having the catch can if it's not being able to breathe?? Awsome man thanks!
-
Haha easy guys . But if there isn't a break in the circulation for it to be filtered then the fumed and favours will just keep circulating and going round and round, and the idea is to filter out the bad fumes. So why is it not best to vent it to the atmosphere? I checked in my catch can to drain it yesterday and literally fuck all came out........ Is that BECAUSE it's vented to the atmosphere??
-
Cheers Trisk!! I'm running 1 pipe off the main rocker breather to the catch can then from the catch can to the atmosphere. And the PCV is connected to the inlet mani.
-
WAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHHHAAHAHAHAHA lmfao.
-
This is EXACTLY how mine was set up, 1 pipe off the main rocker breather, 1 pipe off the PCV and the inlet mani one blocked up with a bolt. HELP ME!!!!
-
Hey guys. Just a quick question regarding the PCV valve on the rocker cover! Basically when i went td04, i put my catch can on at the same time, so obviously thought id be the cool guy and i ran the hose off the PCV and off the breather (like normal).. But the car was smoking ALOT, so i searched it up on youtube and came across a video of a 240sx having the same problem, and someone said change it back to normal (i.e connect the PCV to the inlet mani like normal) and it will stop smoking. Now first of all i thought it was smoking as a result of something else inside the engine as the oil sea
