Ah ok man no worries, I did put a wanted thread up so hopefully someone will reply to it soon! Yeah, holds pressure fine.
-
I don't have it, got rid of that ages ago, the 255 has been ok for over a year now surprising for an ebay one.. I honestly don't know, but i'm going to get it checked! Nope, because I know the car it came out of so I didn't check compression or anything.. Had no reason to tbh. I don't know where that has gone either man haha, might be in the shed in a box but if not do you have a spare oem map sensor?
-
Just the video, other things rattling like boost pipes lol. It's rough, bogy, very very low idle compared to normal and not smooth at all. It doesn't hunt anymore but the other stuff is still the same. And I don't know, I don't want to hit boost incase it dets. Then I really will be in the shit. But for argument sakes I should imagine not no. Fuel pump sounds weird as mentioned above and have been suggested map sensor too. So I really do not know. I'm going to check over the ignition side of things i.e dizzy and rotor arm and change king lead as I have a spare one.
-
Ignore the rattle type noise, it was just my boost pipe on the chassis lol, I held my hand on it half way through the vid to stop it.
-
Haha that's mine! Cheers yo.
-
Hmm, will have to inspect further around that area then yeah. Will check dizzy etc!

I don't think I have a spare one man nope .. I'll check over that though! Took the plugs out and they were black as hell, all of them!! So wire bushed them up n they are shining and they were already gapped to 0.8 so that's good. I think it might be my fuel pump? Just turned the car on to try the plugs and sat inside and it sounds fucking rank, the fuel pump doesn't sound like the normal 255 buzz it sounds proper proper horrible like an aux belt squeak!!!

Sold to a friend. Mods please close thread. -
I don't think so man, I checked them all but will check again for sure. And popping off an intercooler hose wouldn't make the revs drop and hunt for idle/make it run rough :s.
-
Hahaha, that's what I thought lol!!
-
May be 3.4 then man! My bad. Shit that sucks man, what fpr was that?
-
It's 2.4 isn't it? I'm putting my old fpr back on tomorrow cause I know its set to what it was before I put the new engine in with the fpr on. Cool man yeah just check the plugs are gapped first mate!
-
Chances are your plugs just need gapping if you are having the same problem! I'm thinking the same for me, as I just went forged and the engine I put in I haven't checked the plugs yet and im running over 1 bar of boost on my garrett gt28 so chances are it's blowing the spark out where the spark is too long. I'll do mine in the morning. But I want to know why mine went really rough and is hunting :/
-
No probs hope yours is ok. I'm going to take out my plugs tomorrow and see what the gap is and take it from there. What kind of mods do you have and what turbo? Do you have an fpr?
-
Go for heat range 7 and gap to 0.8mm.
-
No mate. by the way gap your spark plugs to 0.8mm with a feeler gauge!!! Then report back.
-
It's either det or pre-ignition imo.
-
I hope it hasn't detonated ;((((((

Just went to take the glanza out to meet a few friends.. Off I go all was well, about 8 miles into my drive and I come off a corner and hit boost.. It popd and banged and hesitated then stopped and carried off but by then I had let off the throttle. I carried on, for some reason.. and eventually pulled over to see what was up, when I pulled over the idle dipped right down and was hunting from about 800rpm to 1000rpm. Sounded proper shit. I duno what the problem is!? All vac pipes are on, everything I can see visually is on and secure. The only thing I haven't done since putting the
