Righteo, well I've not had time to update this or come on the forum much these days anymore. I've been back working on the car when I've had time, and not driven it in about 4 months. Tonight was the first night I drove it (back home from my friends unit). Felt good to be back in the hot seat . Despite the abs light being on for unknown reasons. Anyway, in short.. I went forged. Bought my friends GT off of him with a fully forged engine and swapped the engine out. Here's some pictures of this weekend starting from yesterday to this evening. New engine Random pictures My engine out Forged engine going in (put my silver rocker cover on) One blood Engine in So that's the end of the pictures for Saturday night, we left the unit at 2:30am with the engine and shafts in ready for the loom etc to be hooked up today, went home to sleep and then back up the unit for 8am today. Realised the HT leads were not performing well so I put on the ngk leads off the forged engine back on and then started it up and it ran like an absolute gem, spot on just like it should be. Filled up the gearbox oil, bled the clutch, bled the cooling system and then drove home with some very sketchy brakes lol. But I made it . Fucking well happy though!! Finally forged and going for around 400bhp in the long run. Got lots more up my sleeve so i'll try and update for whenever I get the chance to get back working on the car. Will post engine spec up another day when I can be fucked, but that's your lot for now cause i'm fucking tiredddd bro's.
