oh well least im not the only one ;), it doesn't seem to cause any problems, ;) was wondering just in case And the cat question, Is the way to get the cat apart the same? the heat sheild is removeable but didn't remove it because I didnt have the right tools on me, but it seems like the cat itself is welded to the rest of the exhaust.

Yeah, but is the way to do it the same... or best just getting a decat made up? ;)

First Question: Well when i've been out for a drive then open my bonnet I get this buzzing noise coming from the engine bay, it seems to be coming from one of the black cilinders at the back near the air box. Does anyone know what this could be? It doesnt seem to do it when its cold though. Second Question: Is the topic about gutting the cat on ep91 the same for an N/A 91 or is that just for the glanza? Set on medium and has transformed how the car handles, it used to fell like you were draging the rear end around, now it feels like its actually part of the car. And I've started on the interior. Satin black door cards. yes I have sprayed the fabric Induction Kit and Sprayed Rocker Conver 3G disks and Green Stuff Pads Paseo Dials Glanza S Injectors Injected! It was quite simple to do if not a bit dangerous with a warm engine the first attempt went a bit wrong, No. 2 was leaking but manage to fix that by adjusting it and tightening it up propperly After resetting the ECU, I started her up again she now revs at 1100 constant (Good or bad I don't know...) The main differences I noticed apart from the colour were that they are slightly skinnier and instead of 2 holes there are 4 slightly smaller holes in the tip. Anyway heres some Pics. Old New Took her for a wee spin and she definatly feels like it pulls better in 4th but can't be shore as I have nothing to match it against at the moment. May need another Dyno. Was going to go back to powerflow but when i asked about a straight through system for my Fez they said they only do cat-back. Spose i could just ask em to make a decate pipe that i can just swap back and forth whenever.

Ok thanks for the feedback people, I've been searching on the forums and net and can't seem to find a decat pipe or sports 4-2-1 manifold for the N/A. If someone could post a link to a website or a company name i could look into would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Right getting a 1.3i starlet (think its a base model) and was thinking of going back to powerflow for an exhaust as they done a pretty good job on my fez and was wondering is a straight through cat back system worth the money on a starlet? Or should I just stick with a back box? Only asking this because I've read many times on car forums for other makes and models that the standard system for that make is actually designed to get the most out of the engine already and im on a limited budget as it is.

Yeah I know what you mean I used to have twin dtm tailpipes on my fez and after about six months (long time to realise) I changed it to a 3 1/2" round. Anyway I'll have a rethink on the front end, probs be easier when i got it on my drive and have a good look at it.

Hi all well I will be getting a white ep91 starlet 1.3i, don't know what spec it is insurance says its just a 1.3i. I used to have a 1.3 fiesta mk4 but the just lacked power for a 1.3.
