    My 1.3 fiesta had a coilpacks, but that was only 60odd bhp and before someone says bhp isn't everything it had even less torque

    Haha ^^ Fat Fighters! Well most people do go for the tubular rolla mani, pics in technical (and all ove the site) or you could go searching for gold dust and look for the ACSI (correct abreviation?) mani from the sera along with ECU and 5E-FHE 110BHP... Sorted

    Well in theory a thinner head gasket will give you more compression which means more power. It wont be that much of a gain I wouldn't of thought. If you want more you'll need to bore Oh try TRD - I think they do one.

    I go southend, basildon and thurrock quite a lot, but now the boys in blue have clamped down on thurrock quite a bit. Too many accidents

    No grooved work great but rinse your pads, and you get hell of alot of brake dust, drilled are also good but I have heard and seen them crack. Grooved also look cool 20 Groove FTW!!!

    Well no... the grooves are designed to cut into the pad, drilled holes are designed to dipurse the heat, thats why drilled disks are prone to cracking as they heat up and cool down quickly.

    Well actually sparky... don't mean to be a smart ass... but the grooves just remove layers off the pads this stops them glazing over.

    Yeh sounds like exhaust. Don't know what yours looks like, but my mate had the same problem, we just tightened up the origional brackets, maybe they worked loose or something.-

    Custom brackets? They're nice though and I wouldnt mind paying sumone to fab up the frames..

    Yeah grooved disks stop your pads from glazing over. Drilled and vented disperse heat.

    Personally I think the standard breaks on the starlet are quite good for a 1.3, the rotors are vented (which reduces heat build up on the disk). In comparison to my fiesta 1.3. It used to have Solid disks with the thickness of a milk bottle top and they were prone to warping... So I think their good for standard factory parts.
