    EP91 brakes

Yeah has a wee dent in the front bumper though, but you cant notice it as all you will be looking at is how low it is at the back. I think they were pinky may of imagined it... Hopefully then at least I'll sort of know one person there

    EP91 brakes

Yeah I saw Slim the other day we both pulled over into a BP garage, he definatly has 4pots on the front and glanza disks at the back of his SR. Hes got some pinky/purple calipers if that helps...
  3. Good good thinking about a engine tidy up kit including custom induction kit. One more question - If I was to order 2" Internal Diameter Steel Pipe would I get 2" ID Silicone hose to join two pipes by squeasing it in or would I need to get 2 1/8" Silicone? Sorry if its obvious but don't want to fork out money on the wrong parts. Cheers Rich
  4. If this is in the wrong section - Please forgive me Wells has anyone used this company before? If anyone has how would you rate them? http://www.venairsport.co.uk Cheers Rich.
  5. Yeah the only way to tell is a good GPS but that can be laggy some times.
  6. Ford Fiesta 1.3 Endura 1st - 25ish MPH 2nd - 55ish MPH 3rd - 78ish MPH 4th - 90ish MPH 5th - 89ish MPH Starlet N/A 1st - 28 MPH 2nd - 59 MPH 3rd - 87ish MPH 4th - 109 MPH 5th - 112 MPH (It can't be bothered to go any faster ;) ) These are all on flat road.
  7. Arn't the blitz and sard's between 300-500 quid when they pop up on yahoo auctions?
  8. Good news there, can't wait to see the end result Ditto
  9. As standard supsension goes they are hilarious around corners but spend about £150ish on a rear anti-roll bar and anti lift kit should sort out some of the problems there, then there are the usual suspension mods (check out the budget supsension setup post in Technical). Rich
  10. A lot of nice pics there!! I belive that might be a datsun charad/scooby/Liner/Glanza by the looks of it ;)
  11. Right ok, I know its a double post but that was ages ago. Here is the link again for the ECU rev limit crystal thingy - LINK I would write up a 'write up' on the Rolla manifold and ecu stuff but I'm far too busy reading these forums
  12. Sounds promising, I love these cars, my mate had one in matt black but was in need of some loving and he couldn't afford to maintain it so he had to sell it on. Had a 1.3 gt engine which had blown on him whilst drifting but it still drove for a good few thousand miles after

    Speeding

I swear those things are as in-accurate as stevie wonder playing darts...
  14. No probs mate, as I said above though its probably best to tighten it up properly. Now you just need to go out and find some BMW 318s to play with, don't ask why you'l find out when their 1.8L (recently found out they're actually 2.0L) engines can't handle the pressure
  15. I think I've seen that ep82 down there before, it was parked near a very old VW esate thing (can't remember name of it) and a black CRX.
  16. Oh nice progress there! this will be mental when its finished im sure. Can't wait
  17. Some places can make up new back boxes that are quieter or you could get another middle box section made up.
  18. I think I posted a link up from aus starlet club or toyota owners club can't remember. I can't seem to find it now. Anyway the jist is: Inside the ECU the is a tiny quartz resistor (can't remember propper name) these are usually used to time electrical currents as they 'vibrate'. It is basically used to control the rev limit, when you change the resistance it will change the rev limit.
  19. Hmm, I had a look to see if it could be tightened but couldn't really see how to do it, so just done the quick fix as I was in a rush and it hasn't caused me any probs. Obviously its better to do it the propper way.
  20. I dont see how you can stretch metal cable... I thought you could tighten it too but there was nowhere to adjust it. Sounds like a bit of a bodge job but it definatly stops the pedal flap.
  21. If yours came with the spare tubing (don't cut your one if it didn't) you need about 1/2 inch of it. Go to your accelerator pedal and feel upwards, towards the top of the pedal there should be a point where it is attatched to the cable and a rubber stoper on the end. Pull the cable out to its tort (not so it opens the throttle). If you also have one of the hose clamps spare it would be handy, split the piece of hose in half and put it around the extra wire between the stopper and pedal, use the clamp to keep it from opening and falling off. Sorry about the poor description.
  22. There really should be a FAQ section for the rolla manifold
  23. My manifold came with a spare vacum tube, I cut a piece off that and put it between the pedal and the throttle cable stopper, you will notice you run out of Revs in 1st and a bit in second. 1st you will prob hit rev limiter when you launch.
