I think its safe to say that we're all on the edge of our seats. Its a shame that NI has such rigorous MOTs, but that just means safer motors in the end. Keep up the insperational work. -

Starlet intake manifold vs. Corolla intake manifold

I have notice that mine pulls all the way up to 6200 rpm in 1st, 2nd and 3rd. 4th I think it runs outa puff just before rev limit and 5th just goes to 112 and stays there (on a flat). Im thinking the extra 1krpm would be beneficial for a decent 0-60 time. This is because (if anyone has noticed in an N/A) in second power doesn't really kick in until (I dont have a tacho) 35mph but 1st stops at 28mph, the extra rpm would put the revs into a decent power band before shifting. -
Bit like early climate control?

Awsome news man. Make sure you do a full write up on your progress...

Well tried putting that splitter onto the remix bumper... well lets just say it looked like a mk6 escort
-
Yeah cheers thanx si.

Yeah, am thinking glanza rear bumper, spoiler and skirts, remix front bumper. Hopefully before the 08 season. Oh anyone got a pick of the glanza front splitter at the same angle?
-
Well taking inspiration from prangers I managed to chop this... Colour bit different though.

Lack of funds and confidence on my part lol, get the wrong frequency and you might rev it a bit too hard or might get stuck at 2500rpm -

Starlet intake manifold vs. Corolla intake manifold

you can change the rev limit by replacing a crystal resistor inside the ecu with one of a higher resistence (or lower lol) but aparently the valve springs need to be uprated after 6800 rpm because they "bounce". If anyone could find that topic would be much appreciated because I've had no luck. Think it might be on twincam.info or ausstarletclub.com -
Ryno thats kool just realized I should of put a shadow in...

@joz Well I chose urs because I was reading your topic for insperation and I was REALLY BORED (not bored reading the topic just bored ) @Si as said above lol

That impressive stuff definatly worth the money, Its worth checking out the starlet with manifold aswell because there maybe a different ECU setting on the rolla. I think they d have slightly bigger injectors but I dont think you will need to bother with them as the n/a starlet ones are more than adequet(sp) for the setup. My friend is getting an sr soon so would be fun to test the difference (not an accurate test before anyone starts ) just to guage things. -
dam yeah lip gives it a way, I was truely bored...

Got bored at work so... Guess whos EP..
-
Haha yeah I use whatevers closest at the time... Shell is usually cheaper for the regular stuff.... Neway I was looking at those graphs and why does the car perform worse when it has colder air? Graph
-
Yeah as starlet sr1 said their should be a cage, but thats normally attatched to the other head unit. I think you can go toyota and buy a cup holder to put in there so if fits under your headunit.

Thats cool man, really something to consider if you want to keep N/A. When Ive got some money this is definatly in my top 3 swaps... VTAK killer
