ano but is ther any common problems/fixes lol

workin on a mates v he bought with abs problems. thought it would be an easy fix! ho wrong where we! check codes at the start got 31 and 32. left an right front speed sensor so got 2 second hand abs sensors. fitted ok. cleared faults went for test drive an get fault 31 right front speed sensor. but if we got a few mile run we get both faults back.. wires look ok an rings look fine. what else could it be? very tempted to rip it all out!
