  1. It's actually getting quite scary! I passed a shell this morning and was shocked to see the price for unleaded was 102.9p for unleaded and 107.9p for super unleaded! WTF!??! The super unleaded is what I normally put in, but I might have to go for the cheap crappy stuff now! It isn't even the V-Power stuff either!
  2. Screw you all and your weekday meets! Some of us have real jobs you know. But seriously, if I can make it I'll be there. Last meet was great craic.
  3. Woo Monkey! Nice going with the car. You've made a hell of a lot of progress in 12 days. Looking pretty smart! You better slow down or you'll have nothing to do in the new year...
  4. It's a 5-speed. More pictures to follow when I have the Internet up and running again in the house.
  5. Hit the nail on the head there Shelly! Balearic Blue. 110Bhp, 110 Torques. It marginally faster than my old car (10-15bhp more, but some 300kg heavier), but the extra torque it has makes it feel a good bit quicker and it picks up well from lower revs. Overall a lot easier to drive faster. Plus it handles a lot better. Overall very pleased with it. Thanks for the kind words!
  6. After starting a job which requires a 70 mile round trip each day it was time to retire the YRV for something a bit more capable of the daily commute. A disease-l would have made sense, but I wanted something that felt a bit sporty to drive - so it had to be a petrol. And this is what I traded in the Daihatsu for... 2006 Toyota Corolla SR 1.6 VVTi Complete with multispoke alloys, front splitter, skirts, privacy glass and TTE spoiler. Nothing too heavy planned on the mod side of things. Breathing and exhaust, wheels, suspension and interior will prob be the extent of it, but this isn't l
  7. The 'Hatsu is no longer under my ownership. I will miss and always have fond memories of embarrassing little boy racers and yuppie executives with the underestimated, might mini-MPV, but the time has come to move on. A moment's silence please...
  8. It's due 2009 apparently. The production model looks slighty different, but still... I doubt I'll be making enough money by 2009 2099 to afford one anyway.
  9. How about this one?? http://www.desktopmachine.com/framepic.php...9&size=1024 For a 'mainstream' car it's something special! I mean - it just looks MEAN!
  10. HaHa! I loved pulling that stunt on the computers in the library in uni! Took a while for them to catch on to how to fix it!
  11. I got the day off work! Woohoo! Looking forward to seein' y'all there!
  12. Wayhey! Perhaps I should get more done on the skin I'm supposed to be doing!
  13. The SR is looking great dood! I wouldn't drop the car any more, i think any lower and you'll start to get arch scrubbagge. Which is a right pain in the arse! Just been checking out lisburn-cruise.co.uk there, seems to be a fair bit of activity already - and 145 so far! Good stuff! I've just got myself a job in Lisburn round the corner from East Coast Customs - so I'm bound to spot you soon about soon. Any week night meets happening in lisburn soon?
  14. Find the 'FashionTV' channel - there's boobies - during the day!
  15. Get a weather balloon, put it in the car, and fill it with helium. Your car will be floaty light, but handling may suffer! You could get rid of the power steering? Which would also give you more 'feel' when you get it on the track.
  16. Never tried it myself - but try some redex type stuff. Clear out all the crap in the engine. Cold air feed might help a wee bit. I bought a tin foil oven exhuast from homebase for mine for £8, but you could steal tubing from anywhere. Get really skinny wheels/tires less friction on the road = more speed. Get rid of your seats, stereo, spare wheel, dashboard, gear knob, radio aerial, power steering, anything you don't care about having in your car. Fill a large jar with any change less than 50p you have in your pocket each day. When you fill the jar use that money to by engine parts
  17. I very much doubt it'll be named the AE86. That's just a nickname as it'll be an affordable, low-powered FR coupe type thingy in the same way it was. Besides, the AE86 wasn't even called the AE86. It was a Corolla. Also, check this out.
  18. I must say I prefer forza too - but GT5 might take the ultimate racing sim crown. Until forza 3 arrives, that is!
  19. From the home of Indonesian Rice-Bashing - addmorehp.com
  20. I can't think of any cool names to call my links!
  21. Click-idy Click I had never given any thought to buy a PS3 until now!!!!
