  1. Hmmm, nice fenderage! You know how you were worried about the indicator situation? How about you sticking the indicator light behind the louvres? Too chavtastic?
  2. Here! I just realised I haven't got a run out in the Barchetta yet! What's up with that? I obviously never pestered you's enough!
  3. So the grill is finished - at last. This looks an awful lot tidier than the full mesh get up I had on it before. @ Idrees - I wish I could take the centre piece of the grill out, but due to the way the plastic is shaped, there is nothing below the oval as you can see from the (blurry) picture. After I got the grill fitted, I'm in two minds about it. I think the car looked better from far away with the full meshed grill. But up close the mesh did look very tatty and untidy, so this new grill fixes that problem. Here's the pose pictures:
  4. Nice pics! It's times like that I bet you wish you had a proper camera with you.
  5. Evo is the nicest of them three. MG looks just a tad pale.
  6. It's a shame you can't get car paint the same way you can get paint for your house. If you go into Homebase and give them that buttercup and they match the color for you and give you as many cans as you need of the stuff. If you could do the same with car paint you'd see a lot more interesting colors out there. As far as the yellow you choose - don't make it pale or florescent yellow. I'd say the Fiat Yellow would be spot on.
  7. I'd say the moment he finishes his uni course and has a real job he'll start saving for one.
  8. How about going for the same yellow as the buttercups glowing in the meadow at noon on a warm springs day? Think the color code is 'Nature07'.
  9. I'd have a pulsar over a scooby any day!
  10. Kind of a pre-update post this one. Now that uni is finished and I'm well rested from spending a couple of days watching 'Two and a Half Men' and playing Counter Strike, I now have time to devote to my beloved Dai. First up is to finish the new front grill that I had been working on. I forgot to take a pic of the grill in it's virgin state, but you'll be able to flip back to the first pictures and have a look. So far I've cut out all the spars, filled in the notched left from the cutting, and started spraying. The primer is on, and tomorrow I'll get the painting finished. In add
  11. I was thinking of this - putting a touch-screen monitor that fits inside a DIN slot, and hooking it up to a PC that would under the front seat. But it would be a bit pricey for me. You can get the screens on eBay, but I have heard no reports about how good they are. You can get special pc components that are suited to 12V applications such as a car from this site if it interests you. Instead of the full touch screen pc idea, I've decided to go along the lines of a DIY Hard Drive based mp3 player for my car. More details in my thread soon.
  12. I'd love to go, but I'd prob not afford to take the car. Anyone one from NI fancy a passenger to share the fare?
  13. Great write up Jozman! You're an N/A Guru.
  14. Forza doesn't have Glanza's You should see my VW Corrado tho - lol
  15. Here's another method - using a can of compressed air linkage
  16. Question for Lobo: The night shots you did of your's and geo's cars a wee while back - how come they came out so well. Just taking a stab in the dark (geddit?), but would that be due to the ISO level of the camera, or just due to the big ass lens? I'm asking because to replace my current camera I'd like something small, but capable of similar low-light performance.
  17. for each blog that was to be hosted, you would need to install an new instance of the blogging software, e.g. wordpress. This in itself shouldn't be a big task, and there is even a way to automate the process. Once the software in uploaded to the server a theme could be selected from the large number of pre-made ones. Once set up, supply the user with their log-in details and let them tear away! [update] Just found a blog software that would suit perfectly - b2evolution. You install it once, and then you can set it up for as many blogs as you want, each with their own themes, title, users,
  18. LOL! I actually read this! I'm bored!
  19. I'd go Fuji! Cause I used to have a few and they all rocked! And my dad is a bit of a photographer, and he swears by them. My current camera is an Olympus 3MP jobbie, and it's grand for daytime shots, but in the dark the 1.3MP Fuji is used to have came out with better photos!
  20. ^^ I was gonna say that! ^^ I don't think you could go far wrong with that clio. Only 7k on the clock and 2 years warranty. Any newer and you'd be buying a brand new car!!
  21. I don't even drive a toyota - but I'm glad to be part of this community. A bunch of decent folk that share my enthusiasm for cars, and love of modding.
  22. Good idea! Would be handy if the blogs be hosted at ukstarletclub.com (e.g. enzo.ukstarletclub.com or blogs.ukstarletclub.com/enzo). That way if any search engine displays search results from any of the blogs, and the blog is visited, then it will mean a more hits to the ukstarletclub.com site.
