  1. Trainee Software Engineer, just about to leave my placement job to start final year Computer Science in Uni. Kicks ass lol.
  2. I'm back in my EP91 5E N/A now mate, my GT is in retirement until I finish my last year of uni, just basically looking a backbox that is a standard fit to the N/A without any welding or anything, that looks better than the standard one (looks pure dung). Don't even really care if its that loud, just thought that a TTE would have been a natural choice, but not at that price Will see if the Glanza one fits, hangers are definately the same, just to see if it connects correctly to the standard N/A system. Watsi
  3. Yeah I've heard they're wild for rusting, heard of a few guys having to get them welded. I was looking at a standard Glanza backbox tonight, it seems to be a direct fit to an N/A, gonna buy it of my mate if the price is right. Can anyone confirm that it fits dircetly? Certainly looks that way Thanks, Watsi
  4. Been watching this on ebay for a few days: TTE Exhasut I was going to bid on it nearer the auction end, was thinking maybe £100 at the most. I know these exhausts are very rare nowadays, but is this not a rediculous price? Or am I just behind with the times these days? How much would you guys say they are worth? Watsi
  5. Dell direct. I swear by them. And I'm a software engineer. Whatever you buy, make sure it has Windows 7, not Vista lol. Watsi
  6. Used to be AE86clyde's machine he got from Trevor. Features in the Hyper Revs magazine as a Trial Tuning demo car. Was completely overhauled and rebuilt with a forged TD04 build before being broken for parts (alot of which ended up in my car). Jay has now taken on the merciless task of rebuilding it to what it looked like in the magazine (it then had a Blitz K24 kit with a standard top-mount ) Correct me if I'm wrong Jay but it had a full Tom's kit minus the from bumper? Hope this helps. Watsi
  7. My white Sportif with TTE Springs an Speedlines just after I refurbed them, I think these wheels set white EP91s off like no other wheels, wouldn't have any other wheels on it. Hope this helps. Watsi
  8. Correct, an oversight on my part after I gutted the cat. Which now means I need a new oil feed/return unit as it put stress on this part and cracked it. This also shows that if you are buying a decat, make sure that it has a brace! Watsi
  9. I don't think they do warrenty mate, anyways I bought it second-hand unused. Just put my name down on the latest WEPR CT-9 manifold group buy, no more shite from now on! Lol. Watsi
  10. Thats mainly why I posted this up, I bought it with the attitude that if it cracked then it could just be welded with no major problems, I had no idea that the quality would be that bad. Just to warn anyone thinking of taking a chance, it really isn't worth it. Watsi
  11. Manifold Thats how good that manifold is mate, stay well away. Watsi
  12. Honestly mate, laziness. It's off now, lol. Watsi
  13. The part that really made me laugh was the brace that is supposedly there for 'strength'. It just snapped clean off, lol. Watsi
  14. I didn't buy it mate, not gonna waste any more time on cheap shite, and the noise was insane, lol. Watsi
  15. Looking into a WEPR one at the min. That manifold was only on about 6 weeks as well, lol. Watsi
  16. Just thought I'd share this. Was on my way down to my local scrappy today to look at a glanza that he just brought in to take the manifold off it because my own was blowing out. Half way there this happened... (Hope the images work) You can see the make of it in the last pic, should have known that this would happen some time or other. And the glanza that I was on my way to see has the same f**king one, lol. Watsi
  17. I must have been very lucky then!
  18. To me it sounds like the bearings in the bottom of the engine, when they get damaged there is normally a very loud distinctive knocking noise from the sump area of the engine. Could be wrong though. Watsi
  19. My engine has been spot on and it's been a week since, still holds boost fine and is going like a dream. I stopped my motor at the earliest possible opportunity and seem to have been lucky. I'm no engine expert but oil starvation normally results in the bearings in the lower end of the engine being damaged, not to mention starving the turbo of oil, sounds like you've done quite a bit of damage mate. Do you know how the car lost the oil? Thanks, Watsi
  20. Cheers mate that's a bit more reassuring. I really just wanna be certain because I have plans to up the boost to 1bar (its running a standard ct9) soon and want to be a bit nore certain that it won't damage the engine. Thanks, Watsi
  21. Hey guys, On Saturday night I was leaving one of my friends into Belfast when I noticed a funny smell coming from my car, on the Thursday night I had checked the oil when I was topping the car up with anti-freeze so I thought that whatever it was would hold until I got the car home (about 15 miles). However when I was sitting in the traffic lights the oil light started to flicker, I immediately pulled the car over and swithed it off. Checked the dipstick and there was no oil registering. To cut a long story short I filled the car twice with oil within ten miles until I got it to my brother's
  22. Is it a UK Starlet? This happened in my Sportif and it was the 'TAIL' fuse in the fuse section underneath the steering wheel. Watsi
  23. I got my GT for £600 lol. It was a stolen recovered auto that needed a turbo and steering column, another £400 quid and it was on the road with a manual gearbox. Hard to beat. I really feel for Glanza owners though, some people are selling them for silly money! Watsi
