Worked Saturdays for the last four years since I was 16. I open the shop/service station I work in a 7am, so it means im up at bout 6.15am, work through to 12.30 and then back in for the shift from 6 to 10, it's a right pain in the arse, but its all about the money to fund the motor! I sympathise with all saturday workers, the place would be lost without us!! lol. Wee_Watsi

If you do walk away mate, you have to understand that it will hurt like mad, i think I can confidently say that anyone of the previous people who have posted here have been in the same (or a very similar) situation. IF you decide to walk away... The best bit of advice that I can give is that the healing magic of time is so unreal that you will not be able to comprehend in a few years time just how genuinely good you will feel to look back at this time, and know that this is one of those hellish situations that gave you the wisdom to make better decisions later in life. Found these on US ebay, 5EFHE cams and inlet manifold. I was wondering if these would be of any great benefit to a standard 5EFE uk spec engine in a starlet, I understand that a 4EFE throttle body needs to be used, but would there be any fitment issues, and would the powergains be worth buying these for? Inlet Cams Any info would be much appreciated. Cheers, Wee_Watsi

got your PM Starletraje, i got one sorted, thanks alot anyay. My mate was recently selling his Suzuki Baleno GSR, these come with 15" speedline alloys as standard from the factory, with centre caps identical to the ones on Starlet SRs, so he let me have one of them before he let his car go.

You know you have a Starlet when its the only car amongst your group of friends (who drive saxos, clios and corsas etc) that is yet to break down...

how much did that cost you mate? where did you get it from?

My 5EFE starlet revs to 6500rpm on the limiter, thats what the rev counter says anyway...

19 in a 5EFE N/A. Wont be changing it till im 21...

1.5 5EFE Converted 1998 Starlet Sportif running a non-LSD GT Turbo gearbox with corolla inlet manifold and a backbox. 103.8hp @ 5445rpm 105.6lb ft @ 4556rpm this was its third run on the RR but the first since ive owned it it has been getting consistent power figures throughout of in and around 100hp. i think that some rolling roads are a bit ambitious because my car eats 1.3N/As and i wouldnt expect any bigger figures from my car considering the mods on a 89hp standard engine.

probably a silly question but its worth asking. i recently lost one of the centre caps of my SR Speedline alloys...i was wondering if there is anywhere where these can be bought from? would toyota be able to get me them or is there any websites that sell them? cheers wee_watsi
