    Nissan Gtr

My GT cost me less, lol...
  3. My first Starlet was a 5E mate, in my opinion they are a real good engine and a straightfoward swap (though I bought my car with it already done). However, the 1.5 Paseo engines are like hen's teeth (over here in NI anyway) and you would be lucky to find one with less than 80,000 on the clock. It's also worth noting that as these engines approach 100,000 miles, they are known to burn oil. Mine was burning oil like nobodies business before I took it off the road. Having said that you get alot more poke with a 1.5 as opposed to the 1.3, and plenty more torque. If you can find the engine at a d
  4. Not entirely sure mate but I know that the master and slave cylinders are the same and the clutch piping follows the same route through the engine bay on both. What I'm not sure about is whether the pedals and linkages are the same. Watsi
  5. I converted mine so I'll put a list up of the bits you'll need to give you an idea. ==Gearbox (you can use the automatic driveshafts) ==Clutch slave cylnder ==Clutch master cylinder with piping ==Manual gear selector with linkages ==Manual 4EFTE flywheel ==Clutch pedal ==Full clutch kit ==You don't need manual clocks but its nicer to have them lol ==You will also need a connector off the manual box so that the reverse lights work It's not an exceptionally difficult task but it can get a bit annoying, the hardest part of the whole process (in my opinion) was boring hole in the bulkhead to mou
  6. Heard about a Golf with the same idea, and a Nova with two C20LETs... Anybody up for the challenge of making a Starlet with two 5E TD05s then? Watsi
  7. Anyone who would even consider spending money on making a Starlet that ugly should be thrown off a cliff. Period. Watsi
  8. The car will run fine on the auto ECU, as the Manual one from EP82s won't fit automatic EP82s anyway. I got all the bits to convert my auto from a crashed GT for £250, which was a lucky find, you will also need a manual flywheel on top of everything Rick said, manual dash clocks would help as well, though they aren't necessary. Hope this helps, Watsi
  9. Could you pm me a price for the Sard Fuel Pressure Regulator please. Very interested. Thanks, Watsi
  10. Went to see The Last House On The Left last night, would NOT recommend it. Wanna go and see the hangover, heard nothing but good shizz about it. Would also recommend the new Terminator, well worth watching...
  11. Mark's forged TD04, a fast and beautiful wagon to say the least. Sad to see it being split... However this pic will immortalize it, just like it has immortalized GTs on the roads around Co Down, it's a feared car around these parts...
  12. AoA Audio Extractor mate. Small, compact, easy to use and does the job. Just google it to find it, it's freeware. Hope this helps, Watsi

    3 EP82 GT's (including my own) 1 Glanza 2 N/A EP91's (that I know of (including my own))
  14. Vauxhall Nova 1.0, 45 of vauxhall's finest horses, then got my N/A 5E Starlet, curently waiting to put my quadlight GT on the road...
  15. In this day and age, the R5 is a classic car in its own way, it won't be able to keep up with a 4EFTE, my mate had trouble losing me in his R5 against my 5EFE starlet...
  16. My mum and dad have one and they let me drive it from time to time. It is a very solid and comfortable car, but for a 1.6 16v it is painfully underpowered to pull the weight of an estate volvo, thus it is very hard on petrol. We've never had any trouble with ours, its a 2001 with 40,000 and goes like clockwork, my mum drives it to work every day and it is very reliable, but if you're after a workhorse you're better getting the 2.0D one, I suspect (but do not know) that it would be alot more economical than its 1600 counterpart. Hope this helps, Wee_Watsi

    Retro gamers?

Still have: Sega Master System - Alex the Kidd and Sonic the Hedgehog ftw lol NES - Mario easily the best game I have for it SNES - Super Mario AllStars Sega Mega Drive - Golden Axe, Street's of Rage and World Cup Italia '90 I would also consider the PS1 with its early games to be retro, e.g. Final Fantasy 7, the first Tomb Raider and the first GTA. I would never sell any of these as they are too much entertainment and too precious to sell for a stupid price like £15 on ebay....
  18. Got pulled 3 times in the EP, Once for revving the tits off her in town, my fault.... The second for revving the tits off her in town, again my fault...after this time the backbox came off The third was random, it was the peeler from the first time, in a town 20 miles away, he thought I was drunk However driving the EP has been a dream with the police compared to my Nova, she was shiny black with a GSi kit, gold wheels and a Seebring backbox, the local constabulary hated it, even went to the trouble of stopping me at 2am on new years day to give me a warning about my number plates
  19. Going to my local, free in and I know almost every1 there so it's always a good nights craic, not to mention it's a ten minute walk home and possibly 10 times cheaper than goin clubbing in the city.... Have a good and safe one peeps, there's alot of idiots running round after 12 on new year...
  20. You could turn your little visiting trip into a UKSC minimeet by the sounds of the amount of people that want to go with you lol

  23. My brother owned a teg for a year and I had the pleasure of driving it several times, it was hailed as the best FWD car of all time by Evo Magazine, and it deserves it in every respect. It is such a raw car that handles superbly, if you watch best motoring there is a video of an STi Impreza that cant shake a DC2 of its tail on a track, and for a FWD car that 'only' has 187bhp, its a massive achievement, I would recommend test driving a DC2 before making any decisions, but its very hard to come across a low milage UK eample...
  24. Queen's is alright mate, it really depends on what course you're doin as my mates on different courses are having a much different experience than myself. I travel to Queen's in the EP, I live 15 miles from Belfast so it's not that far and not too much hassel, but any futher then I'd definately recommend moving up. My mates have a house and what nights I have went out with them have been mental, a night out in Belfast is real good craic... Let me know what you decide to do mate, and the best of luck...
  25. Second year Computer Science student at Queen's in Belfast....work in a service station part time to fund the Starlet and the student life... Pretty boring...
