I had enough today, had to do it all myself as my cousin that was supposedly helping me don't know what a fuckin spanner looks like haha, only use to me was guiding engine in , I'm taking my caddy to be remapped tommorow so I'm going to sort it out Sunday and remove all unused sensors and get it running properly, also got to cut my bumper out and get rid of the smell of gearbox inside as it's buzzing lol

So big update The engine is finally in and running , got a problem with spluttering / misfire when coming on boost, it's running way to rich and piping and banging so got to have a look at that and not sure if all my vaccums pipes are all on right.side exit is also to loud haha, will be keeping this one now no more buying/selling/breaking starlets anymore

Ok thanks , it's got a hks actuator and the vacum is looped onto turbo ? Is that right? And the only other vaccum I got is map sensor to inlet, il check ecu tommorow , the only thing I can think off is I ain't got no temp sensors plugged in as the engine I had was a 98 spec and mines a 96 with different plugs

What do you mean by leaky injectors? They feel pretty loose on the rail, I checked everything when I moved houses lol

It has stock fpr, means more money again for map sensor lol. It's puffing out black smoke and blowing hoops through my side exit haha.

Hi just put a new engine in my starlet and as soon as it starts to come on boost it spluttere like mad and pop and bang, it's overfilling like mad and black smoking , done a diagnostic and it says coolant circuit incomplete and map sensor circuit, any help would be great

Bought an engine, turbo and manifold off him and he's a top guy, even gimme a free rad , thanks again buddy

So engines here thanks to charlie, so ripped my old lump out and swaped some parts over to new engine and put new plugs, oil filter and gearbox oil in ready to be dropped in tommorow and then full with engine oil, so should be all up and running by tommorow afternoon here's some pics
