Thanks guys yes, I would say 10-15% power gain which is quite great already when the kit triggers, you can add 3/5 degree on your ignition timing map AIT goes from 48/53°C without watermeth to 23/28°C with watermeth injection EGT goes down about 50°C less than fuel injection only. So it is not only more power, it is much cooler/safer setup to run it has never been dinoed. I do mapping on the road myself but has won quite few slalom and rally stage which should let think it has an efficient powerband. I would say around 190hp at 1 bar. 210 hp at 1.2 bar. the turbo compressor flowmap is designed to be efficient up to 1.8 bar. it should be around 240hp over there, but I haven't tried yet as I didn't need that much power on events I was entering in (too much power is a prob on 1st and 2nd gears on some events) indeed sacha. I can get you one if you need Seriously, thanks again for developping that kit to specific slalom/rally requirements

Some of you might know my car from other forums&pages. I decided to copy my love story over here aswell October 2001 she arrived from Japan Engine was fully standard, just had Blitz air filter and stainless exhaust box. The car came with volks rays TE37 15' bronze wheels plus TRD coilovers 🆒 First mod has been news 3G brakediscs and Pagid fast road pads to help her in the slow down task. then after 3 years studying around. I learned quite few things and decided I was ready to move for more power. I finaly found a full front cut with uprated parts. CT12 hybrid Turbo, Stainless manifold and downpipe, Fuel regulator, LSD gearbox, TRD wiring, Blitzdualdrive BOV, FCD, SLD, FMIC, Electronic boost controler... car has been fully debadged and resprayed with standard white color Bumper has been modified to match my new FMIC new transparent side indicators have been painted black to match headlight design final touch after spray, oh yeah she's shiny ! so I went out for some new pics : Then I have fited a new 'shorter' registration plate back in those day we had no quartermile event. So I decided the car was ready for a Run session test, the only one she did (won all three Races against 4age 20valv GT, CT20 glanza and Ford Capri SR20DET, not bad hey ?) Bonnet had some marks, so I decided to send it back to sprayer and use my black bonnet while it was resprayed. I wasn't happy with first plate location, so I moved it a bit on the right under the hood ! So now you could think, I was happy enough? well, yes I was but unfortunatly I had access to this nice Turbo kit So I just went for it, but this was quite bigger, a fuel regulator wasn't good enough... I bought some new 360 cc injectors and a brand new emanage ultimate Clutch lasted 3 weeks lol, so well, I needed a new TRD clutch kit of course, plus few other bits and here it is, she was fine tuned runing at 0.6 bar on low boost up to 1bar on some needed occasions then I decided to work on the interrior. Sparco steeringwheel & buckets, 4 points sabelt harness, TRD ducaron gear knob and multipoint rollcage 🆒 bought my own tools to fine tune without needing to borrow them anymore http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5110752] nightshot next to a friend GT Finaly after a long story I sold the white lovely in Mai 2007... so here is last pic during a starbo meeting few days before she left home featured : UK, Banzai mag http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5337637] a French magazin (donc ask the name, it wasn't the best thing...) http://www.putfile.com/pic.php?img=5337636] USA, Turbo performance mag. Slalom regulation requires a codriver in Mauritius Actualy there are some hidden corners. and the track can be confusing at some point. there are pilots who went wrong direction few times. Event with notes But you are right, it is not that necessary. It still help to get you more confident though

d2 coilovers one side bouncy one side solid
azerty replied to Ep91Ben's topic in Chassis & Suspension
the one which is bouncy might have lost its oil. (or not be settup properly : too soft) the one which seems stuck might just be stuck and ready for garbage, or its dampening might be setup way too stiff. you can adjust dampening from the top of your shocks. you need a long allen key (which was included in the kit at first) D2 struts can be opened and fixed if problem is gone oil/broken gasket. but you need to find a place which know how to do it properly. Most poeple do not bother, and just change strut cadridge. -
I use 15*6.5 et35 ATM. next rims will be in same range as that's what is easily available over here. popular offset is et38 (but also can find et35 and et40), popular 15" width is 6.5" (sometime there are some 7", but this is not that easy to source over here in this size) you are using 330mm spacers ? I guess you meant 30mm, right ? I do rally and slaloms, so I really want to make sure I won't have negativ side effects :/

for those wondering about scrub radius and SAI (steering axis inclinasion) Scrub radius is the result of camber, steering axis inclination (SAI) and rim offset (spacers affect rim offset).

Hello there, I'd like to start a discussion about wheel spacers vs handeling on starlet chassi. I have done quite some read on other cars. there loads which can be find on porsche and bmw but those are RWD and obviously very different in many other aspects. there are few reason people would like to use wheel spacer : - wider stance to have more grip during cornering (due to less lateral weight transfer) - looks (having your wheel flush to arches) - leave room for big brake kit - reduced lateral load transfer the main downsides will be: - bearing wear - heavy steering due to exessive positive scrub radius - increased torque steer due to exessive positive scrub radius On my side, I have big brake kit, so using wheel spacer would let me have much more choice in terms of wheel design. it would also help during cornering. but I'm realy worrying about increased torque steer (which is already bad enough on standard starlet suspension geometry). the heavier steering won't be a great thing during slaloms neither. I would like to know what is the standard scrub figures on our starlet. anyone would know ? I plan to use 20mm hubcentric spacers, and move my coilovers top axle (using camber plate) the maximum close to engine bay so I would get maximum angle (SAI) to help with scrub figures not beeing too positive (then I'll adjust camber from bottom mount to reach -2°)

hi there. I'm not really new on this forum. I already had an account in the past even if I have never been really active. Few guys told me I should post my saga again, so here I am I'm French man living in Mauritius
