So i have been bashing and swearing at this total cunting piece of shit wank for about an hour now.
Ive done the drivers side easy enough but the passenger side is not moving.
I near enough launched a cold chisel into the 5th dimension trying to get it off.
What do i do now to get this off?

Does anyone know if the NA and glanza out cv boots are the same?
I can only seem to find them for the glanza.
If you have a part know the part number for the right one i can just order them from a local dealer.
Thanks!
-
This can be closed now as its going to be off to the banger racing once its collected!
-
Not long before this gets scrapped if no ones interested.
-
Its my local track lol, id guess that this was the infield coming up to agastoni harpin?
I have no idea to be honest as that picture was a few months back now but it looks about right lol
How far are you from snett?
Im from camb so its the nearest track to me too.

On a serious note though and MR2 or MR2 turbo are very underrated cars, the turbos absolutely fly and even the NAs have a fair amount of poke to play with.
They are also the strange combination of fast and comfortable!
-
Unfortunately i didnt have mine long enough, stacked it about a month after getting it.
Will get another one day they are a great looking car
Thats not at snetterton is it?
Yea it is, how could you even tell? xD

Im located in cambridge.
-
If anyone wants it even cheaper, you can take it away for £100 without the panhard or wheels.

Year: 1998
Model: uk EP91
Tax: none
MOT: till june 2017
Mileage: 156000
Description:This car was bought in 2012 for my girlfriend as a first car.
We payed £300 for it in standard trim except being lowered and missing a back box and a broken indicator stalk.
After fixing it up she used it up until she bought an MR2 at that point it came into my hands to be used as my everyday car.
The only time it has ever let us down is one winter morning many years ago the aux belt snapped other than that it has been completely faultless.
This year and the year before it was the transport of choice to take the two of us and out two dogs from cambridge to scotland so anyone who says it is impractical isnt trying hard enough.
Sadly though only its journey to scotland this year a wheel bearing has given up and is not making a huge racket.
It does however still start without hesitation and drive under its own power it just makes alot of noise doing it!
I would have kept it going longer but honestly im sick to death of driving a lowered bumpy ass tiny little car everywhere so i went and bought an EP3 as a more interesting daily!
Pros:
Cheap runner as your all aware
New windscreen fitted this year
Super cool stealth matt black paint job
Enkei alloy wheels 15x6.5 et38(i think)
Kids love to see the 'batman car' parked up in tescos. I've had more compliments in this than the RX7!
Cons:
Front wheel bearing is very noisy
Its had dogs in it.
It leaks a little bit of oil but it is pretty minimal.
The colour and sticker combo is a bit marmite!
The paint job is also a rattle can job but its perfect for the no fucks given tesco run when some cunt in an audi wants to park in all the bays.
I think thats everything, it will be sad to see it go as it has done an amazing job over the years but time moves on and all that.
Price: £300 including wheels, momo wheel, panhard rod and all the spares i find in the shed!
Pictures:I can get more pictures on request.

Sorted, Thanks!

Am i just being thick or blind?
I cant see anything anywhere about becoming a 'full member'
If you could point me in the right direction id be much obliged!
-
Thanks for the info!
Yea the race can be damaged with a hammer and you could end up at square one
Or at the very least with a bearing with a shorter life span!

Im probably going to need to replace my front wheel bearings soon and i have but one question.
Are they press in or slip on?
-
At this point im just after the differences but ill get on over and have a look all the same
-
The long and shor of it is that im looking at getting a megasquirt ECU in the future for a project.
Now i would like to know the differences as with the new ECU brings new possibilities
I would like to turbo the pig for one and id like to do it on my current engine and upgrade the engine if and when it needs it.
Obviously it would be easier to just get the turbo engine in from the get go but wheres the fun in that.
So yea if i know what the differance is in the loom i can save myself some trouble later on by building a new loom to suit.
Its all up in the air at the moment but if you have any other suggestions feel free to chip in!

Gearbox, clutch kit, flywheel off
Poke a hole in the seal
Put a screw in the hole and use a driver to pry against it to pop it out (so ya dont damage seal contact surface)
Clean up the area
Lube the new seal
Gently and evenly tap the new seal in (i use a 3/8" extension and a hammer)
Use new flywheel bolts or loctite the old ones
Rebuild in reverse order
Sorted.
Lol fair enough.
So long as there is no special requirements getting the old one out ill be happy.
Well not happy but less annoyed doing a shitty job
-
Does anyone know of a good one?
Looks like to fucker has let go so i best start looking at getting and replacing it!

Im in wantage. I still have the gearbox and I do have some top mounts as well
Pete
How much for both?
Im also after the plastic retainers for the front indicators and the front interior speakers if you still have them/ that they work
-
Do you still have the gearbox and front suspension top mounts?
Also where abouts are you in oxfordshire?
-
Have you not thought about putting a sheild over the manifold pipes to stop some of the heat?
Or possibly zircotec heat coating?
