I hate my neighbour, I swear he damaged my posh car out of spite. If i'm out at work when courier arrives I don't want him taking these in - I would rather they were left in an outbuilding or delivered on a Saturday.

I know the CJ Performance coilover group buy is coming to crunch time, and I may still go that route but i'm struggling to justify what will be a £440 coilover cost (which is ok) + £100 for an adjustable pan rod + £150ish for having it all fitted. I only paid £995 for my Starlet! Coughing £700 on suspension for a non turbo seems a bit ott, but I can't see any way of avoiding the purchase of a new adjustable pan rod no matter what springs I buy as they all lower so in theory all force the new pan rod. Is there any option for buying a new cheaper shocks/springs setup like KYB stuff that don'

Perfect timing! I need new suspension... So what else James on suspension would it be best to replace at the same time on a UK n/a EP91 with stock suspension if I got a set of these? Just the bushes?

I have the rare ( i think ) Toyota 98 Starlet brochure which features the SR. I don't have a scanner but could take a decent piccie if anyone was interested in putting it in the Wiki or something. It's not an earth shattering feature on the SR, but is the only brochure to feature it I believe. Just a thought.

Hey all, need the advice of you guys. My lil' chap is due new suspension based on it's age plus I'm hearing whooshing noises when going over some speed bumps so sounds like it's time for renewal. I have only changed the wheels to a set of Yaris alloys 15", and shod with some fairly average hard compound tyres which of course are much lower profile to maintain the wheel tyre circumference from the original steelies. Although the car handles better now and is less delicate in corners due to the extra wheel width (not helped by the original tyres when purchased somehow being 18 years old bas

Cheers all. Well she is back out of the shop and all nice and gleaming complete with a coat of paint protection they applied. It was like heaven driving the Starlet after 3 days in a 03 Fiesta TDCI loan car which had a diesel engine that sounded like a tractor + was as rough as a badgers rear end... I'll take a piccie first thing in the morning before I set out as it's cleaner now than it ever has been, and probably ever will be again.

Hi all. Good to find this forum after the wasteland that is Toyota owners! I'm not what you would call street youth being in my 40's, but I love my cars and my Starlet as a second car runabout has been a revelation.Best grand I ever spent no contest! It had 50k miles on the clock when I got it last year, and has not missed a beat of course. Very clean inside and out, I have subsequently replaced the stock steelies with a set of new Yaris alloys that I picked for a bargain £120 on the 'bay. Only other change I have made is to replace the amber front indicator lenses with clear ones from IDWor
