Bug679
There's a list of drivers on this page think yours should be the second one for Windows 10/8/7 64 bit have a look and see if it helps. It doesn't give much info on the item description on eBay. If that fails ask the seller he should be able to help you. https://serialio.com/drivers-and-set-up-usb-rs-232-adapter-in-windows Edited March 16, 2016 by Bug679
5e colin
tryed that there and installed it and it gives code 43 ? what ever that means
Bug679
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/24207131/code-43-windows-has-stopped-the-deviceLooks like Windows stopped the program from loading if ya try to restart your laptop or if that doesn't work try reinstall and restart then. It should work just could be a bitch at times.
Johnboy GT
I think you also get the option to select a serial port, maybe worth checking that to make sure it's reading it.John

hopalong_neil
When i did mine i plugged the cable in and let windows do its thing trying to find a driver. Once this had failed i went into device manager, right clicked on the cable that should have a yellow warning on, picked properties, then the drivers tab and update driver. Next pick search yourself and then browse to point it to the folder with the driver in. It should then install. This stuff can be soooo frustrating, it took me so long to sort on my laptop it was too late for me to do what i wanted.
