carlosd87
Which has a better cooling a tmic or a fmic, I have a standard TM at the moment was thinking of upgrading? Any help? Cheers
Trackgt
Should be obvious really mate. A front mount will cool far better than a top mount. As the top mount sits ontop of a roasting engine. Only downside to a front mount is slightly more lag. But the upsides far outweigh the downsides mate. You will get much cooler inlet temps. Also looks much better aswell with a front mount

starletezy
To be honest if your running stock power and stock boost you wont be needing it you will simply gain lag and lose power unless your upping the boost abit then yeah
adzy
Front mount is far better, was 1st thing I fitted to mine. Lag isn't very noticeable on the ct9 anyway! And you won't lose power, if anything you'll gain some from colder/more dense air. Mine pulled so much stronger with the fmic.I've seen kits on eBay for less than £200 Edited April 25, 2016 by adzy
Gainzy
Front mount all day
Iwan-g-g
As has been said, front mount if you're going to be running more power.
