brake drum bearings

Hi, does anyone know where i can buy some new bearings from for my brake drums, the ones fitted inside the drum are ok, its just the smaller ones that slide on to the end of the stub, its a 1997 ep91 n/a, cheers.

local moterfactors they come in kits of 2 inner and outer

you will have to change both or the new 1 wont last long there al the same on p9p8 drum disc

cheers, is it easy to get the bearings out of the drums, or is it a garage job

in the hub seats where the bearing reces cups are there are slots in there where you can put a long screwdriver or the likes to tap them out if you stick your finger inthere and feel the gap u will get it

few taps and there out

do not over tighten them reinstalling

Its a 5 min job per drum. Use the old races to tap the new ones in. And make sure you tap them in the right way lol.

cheers for the help, is there a circlip inside the drum to stop the inner bearings coming out, its just so I know what tools to have ready before I start, thanks, a step by step guide would be helpful, but I cant find one anywhere, I don't want to mess up but want to have a go myself, many thanks

No just a split pin, pair of pliars to remove it.

Remove the big nut, something tells me 22mm but could be wrong.

The drum should pull of then.

Then follow Colin's advice on removing the bearing cups.

Just be aware that they are not the same for drum and disk. We had to cut the stub axles off Charls ep70 to fit disks on the rear. The stub axle is smaller in diameter on the drum type. 👍🏻

Finnish version P9 n/a have same diameter stub axle like turbo P8/9, only P7 have smaller diameter, probably UK also...
