Luke91 Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Hey guys I've just fitted a hybrid turbo and ram horn Nani took it for a spin at 0.8 and the clutch is sticking lol. What's a good upgrade but won't brake the bank? Cheers. Quote
Bug679 Posted May 22, 2016 Posted May 22, 2016 Am using a blueprint atm and have no bother with it at all cost 90 euro for the kit Quote

Whitenoize Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 (edited) Orc never need to buy another clutch again Edited May 23, 2016 by Whitenoize Quote
Bug679 Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 Check with your local motor factors. It's a standard clutch replacement your old one could be shagged that's why it's slipping. How much they hold don't know but mine hasn't slipped yet Quote
Luke91 Posted May 23, 2016 Author Posted May 23, 2016 I would love a Orc but funds are restricting me atm but when I go forge next year that will be on the list 😁 Quote
fiddlersport Posted May 23, 2016 Posted May 23, 2016 running a stock exedy, 165 bhp holding up good Quote
gorganl2000 Posted May 25, 2016 Posted May 25, 2016 i'd suggest you get a stock clutch and an uprated pressure plate with maybe 20-40% more clamping force (i suppose you can find one on your end at a decent price---similar to the TRD unit spec wise) it will give you a nice daily drive feel and take the power you put at it with the hybrid for a very long time Quote
Luke91 Posted May 25, 2016 Author Posted May 25, 2016 (edited) Cheers bud but where can I get just a plate from all I can see are the actual full kits. Edited May 25, 2016 by Luke91 Quote
gorganl2000 Posted May 26, 2016 Posted May 26, 2016 i think you should be able to get an uprated pressure plate in the UK...maybe fensport, exedy, ACT,cap, etc?? i suppose the more local the product the less likely you would incur duties?!? i tend to get stuff from rhdjapan, eaby/us...as its easier for me---i'm not based in the UKrhdjapan has the trd pressure plate for sure...but maybe try your local toyota dealer Quote
Luke91 Posted May 26, 2016 Author Posted May 26, 2016 Ok cheers bud will do abit of snooping around. Quote
