FPR, how did I install one and set it correctly

Okay so I have got a FPR and a 255 pump and going to be fitting today.

The car is going to be mapped in about 2 weeks time so want to get these on before hand.

I'm going to be setting the FPR at 2.4 bar as this is what people are saying stock pressure is.

Should I set it at this with car turned on and vacuum line connected?

dont set it til the engine is roasting hot !!!! as it has an effect on the fuel pressure

yes disconnect the vac line to it and block it or you will have high idle

Ah you hero Colin, I set mine with the vacuum line connected and couldn't understand why I have a high idle that settles out eventually. I'll be trying this at the weekend then!
