daniel_g
I had pilot 3 on my old bugeye wrx, they were great. Stuck to the road even in pishing rain. The put a different set of alloys on with budgets on the back and it was very oversteery and a lot of fun!
gorganl2000
i previously ran toyo T1-R on my starlet and i'd not recommend them...they were just "ok" imoi'm not sure if on the subaru they would be any different with 4wd i don't have any experience with the others you mentioned, but maybe you will get some feedback to help choose one of those other
Socks
For an everyday car, this time of year withthe rain.. The RS3s take some beating!
daniel_g
Rainsports 3 are far too soft. And the wear rate is shicking.Good in the wet right enough.
jimmymac101
To be totally honest im put off the toyos as they are cheap and ive not overly heard good things about them! Rainsports are very tempting what are they like in the dry compared to others? the piolet 4's are £106 a corner the others are £80-85 My current pirellis have lasted 2 years ( were on the car when purchased ) and ive only replaced one tire due to tracking wear! JamesIve only had them on the starlet and i thought they were decent enough in the dry, they wore down far too quick though. Switched to NS2R which i thought were miles better! jimmymac101
I looked at NS2Rs but at £120+ a side in my size i couldnt do it 😂ive decided to stick with what i know on this car a good allrounder the pirelli It was the wear rate on the rainsports that pushed me away James Edited March 26, 2017 by jimmymac101
