glanzadude Posted April 14, 2017 Share Posted April 14, 2017 Lads i am spraying my rear lip fiberglassed,filled and 100 grit wet & dried it cleaned it down and sprayeds it with 3-4 coats of primer rattle paint, i didnt wet sand inbetween coats,do i have to sand it down now with 600 grit before base coat?any other tips thanks Quote Link to post Share on other sites
5e colin Posted April 14, 2017 Share Posted April 14, 2017 i would spray base coat on that then sand that smooth and then final paint few coats and few coats of laquer dont over do the laquer in the can or it will turn whit ish thats just how i do it might be better way about it ?? 5T4R7ET N/A Posted April 15, 2017 Share Posted April 15, 2017 If your using cans try to make sure they are not cold.I warm mine up using a heat gun.As above base coat and lacquer is the way to do it. Remember fine coats are better than one thick coat.Be patient and make its warm enough when you paint above 10c outside at least Quote Link to post Share on other sites
