HarrisonS
As we all know the speakers that come with the car are terrible and it's difficult to get any bass from replacing the stock 4" speakers. I have read that there is wires in the back of the car for optional rear speakers and I've had a look and I think I've found them I just want to make sure. The wires I have found are all grounded but one is brown (ground) and then there is a yellow and brown one (hoping to be speaker) and then a plain yellow one (hoping to be positive). There is a picture below. I would just like to know what the wires are and if they are speaker wires if there's a another on the other side of the car for the left speaker or if it all goes through those wires.Any help massively appreciated
TRD-1
These don't look like speaker wires, its a earthing point for something, removing it will make something not have a ground connection i.e not work. Im guessing speaker wires will be either in a connector that isn't connected to anything, or taped down somewhere along the loom.

ryan lang
if you have a recent head unit. they should be labelled as rear speakers on the wires. running them under the centre console and under the carpet and seats takes 2 minutes

westie
There should be an unused plug taped into the loom under the drivers side plastic in the boot. This plugs straight into a plug on the parcel shelf from a CD spec UK car which had rear speakers as standard.

I'll have a better look at some point. Cheers
