Welcome aboard mate :D

Firstly you would be needing a new turbo (price would depends whether you got for a hybrid ct9 or a tdo4 kit etc there aree loads to choose from)

Then you would need the uprated manifold and downpipe and full exhaust system and some sort of induction kit mounted near the front if possible. That would be your breathing sorted.

Then fueling would be the next step, some uprated injectors and fuel pump and some sort of fuel controller to make sure you dont run the car lean or too rich

You may even need to uprate the internals of the engine but that would depend on thecondition of the engine

Oh but FIRSTLY I would uprate thebrakes and suspension because you cant got fast if you cant stop or turn a corner :(

Hope this helps :D

ToyTuning is the Starlet specialist not sure how far it is from you but check the site for more info on them :p

welcome along, mate, you have seen the light lolz.

aye you would be best off budgeting for about 2.2k if you wanted to create a full packaged car at 200bhp.

at 220 the injectors and standard clutch are at theyre limits.

have a good deek about the forum to find out whats out there, the amount of parts that are available for the starlet is rediculus.

make sure you check the trading forums for ideas

dont say that you'll give him a big head! lol.

gee's car is nice, but hes spent a ton of cash on it.

to be one of the big HP boys you really have to throw a ton of money at them.

another thing worth thinking about, youll have to get a near perfect setup (ie, LOTS of money) to have it handling like your clio. its not all about power mate.

as for parts, i can get almost anything for these cars from japan given time.

just go to the TC section in the for sale area.

lol nice advice .. well i want to be running at least 200bhp and have decent handling.. as ive now decided to keep my clio after speaking to my brother.. he wants it (not worth us selling it after its been in the family since new) , so that can be the track car.. and mine will be erm.. fast road use.. :p

so what suspention should i be looking at? heard everyone mentuioning d2 coilovers?

also which turbo kit? td04 best?

uprated intercoooler?

but main thing is reliability since its going to eb my everyday car which i will need running everyday.. so lol, how much am i looking to get the engine forged so i know its solid and also that i have more room for power if needed?

and whos best to go to?

sorry am a bit new to the starlet game lol and not used to the forum?

do you have a techinical section where i can read into this stuff? like we do on cliosport.net..

you can get starlets running 200hp reliably pretty easily. you wont need to forge it mate, the stock internals will easily cope with 200hp.

a td04 kit would be fine. steer clear of the WEPR stuff. its junk.

your looking to spend about 2-3k on parts for the engine.

youll have to spend probably another grand on handling. (D2s are ok, but not the best)

and we di have a techy section mate, just go to the main page and look.

if you have any more questions, just ask, i can probably answer them for you.
