Hi

I'm after shim adjusting tool, the only place I can only find one is in the USA.

It's not for ajusting, just what their called, I need it to remove and replace the shims

Pretty sure the 4e head is the same set up as charade. It's possible to remove them without taking the cams out with a special service tool.

But it's easier to just remove the cams

Theres not enough space around the buckets from the casting and no space under the cam. It's easy just the pull the cams off and keep everything organised and labelled as you go

There is its called valve shim removal tool Toyota or eBay mate

Your right Colin, I just Googled it. Never seem them before however did think there would be space, Looks fiddley

Ya fiddly fucker indeed takes getting used to remember when I was working in Toyota almost a decade ago but fuck me the price of it !!!!!! Better of with the 1 from USA for 50 ,,,,,,,, I use taped up pry bar works a treat hint hint

Looks like the one from USA for £30 it is.
