Negative coil wire ?

Im installing a Rev limter as I dont like the fact my plug and play ecu has a 8k+ limter . Going by the wiring diagram its asking me to wire it to the negative of the coil . Im a right in thinking I can just go onto the negative feed 2 pin plug from the coil or Im I better in taking it from the ecu or diagnostic port ? Any help would be great 👍🏼 thanks Toby

Took mine from the coilpack on the fire wall. Can't tell you what wire I have tapped into though.

Ok cheers dude , that what I was going to do just was wondering , think its a 2 pin plug , so I guess ones 12v and the other ground so that should give me the coil neg 👍🏼 Thanks Toby

Coil negative is the same wire that runs to the tacho, so you can tap into it underneath the dash if you need to. Its doesnt however run to the ecu.
