The engine is coming out my Glanza over winter for a refresh. Car had been sitting nearly 4 years when I got it so thought may as well take the off season to breath some new life into it.

Currently on my list are:

Timing belt kit, water pump, oil pump, crank seal, rocket cover gasket, possibly sump gasket.

Will inspect the clutch and flywheel while its off and take it from there.

Anything else I have missed that is important to do while its out ?

I would do all seals and gaskets. Consider doing the headgasket if no evidence of it being done. Then may aswell do stem seals too. I'd replace all the hoses etc too

headgasket had crossed my mind. However I was hoping to not go that far with it, Suppose for the sake of some head bolts and a gasket it might be worth doing. Vac lines etc will be replaced as necessary.

Trying not to spend a fortune while its out however not wanting to miss anything obvious at the same time.
