akyakapotter Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Good Morning everyone so having a strange problem at the moment with the glanza's the power steering. It's quite heavy from a start then when driving it is feeling very light to the point its feeling very unsafe to drive feels like i'm driving on ice any one have any idea what the problem could be ideally i'd like to keep the ps but may have to bin it off. cheers nick. maddox710 Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 Does this change with speed nick? Thinking it could be alignment out.. If not then then might be experiencing a similar problem to me, think the rack might be shock and leaking fluid past the seals. Best way to check is to take one of the rack boots off. Mine were wet through inside. Will Quote
akyakapotter Posted September 22, 2018 Author Posted September 22, 2018 steering gets super light at speed alignment is spot on 0 toe -1.2 camber my rack may be shot tbh fair bit of play in the steering wheel now i think about it. Quote

So one may have split or been damage or popped off if you have done any engine work lately ? Quote
akyakapotter Posted September 22, 2018 Author Posted September 22, 2018 Only had the box out I'll crawl underneath have a look and have a look round the the engine bay. Quote
T-dog Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 You may have disturbed the pipes when you undone the starter or the rear bell housing bolt . Worth a check Quote
