RoyalDutchie
I've owned my glanza for a while, but I doubt the OEM actuator is looped correctly. The car has a filter relocation to the front bumper. Currently the top nipple is connected to the turbo and the one on the side is disconnected. Doesn't this create a vacuum leak, and should it be blocked? Have been looking around the forum but didn't find a clear answer. Kind regards, Brian Edited January 5, 2020 by RoyalDutchie
RoyalDutchie
anyone?
T-dog
The two nipples on the oem actuator are for the hi and low boost button . If you have this removed and loop hose going to the sensor on top of the abs pump . But I’m sure most leave them to atmosphere on that nipple 👍🏼
Timmah
I have the vac port on inlet side going to my EBC, and then the vac port that is tucked away, I've blocked it off. But I have read people leave it unblocked
RoyalDutchie
Thanks lads I probably leave it venting to atmosphere. After checking the diagrams once more. I believe Toyota designed the actuator to have a small hole to bleed air, just like a bleed valve. If this would be true blocking the nipple would restrict the turbo to low boost. Unfortunately I do not have a proper boost gauge installed yet so I can't test this.
