Mk3 silver gt Posted March 15, 2021 Share Posted March 15, 2021 Just a thought but if I remember correctly there is a earth lead that bolts on the inlet manifold on the left side where the idle control valve is and that earth point is important so maybe try have a look there Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Get some proper thick earth cable from engine to body, gearbox to body, negative battery terminal to chassis. The bits of string called earths that starlets have are shit and dangerous.
