starlybruiser Posted April 29, 2008 Share Posted April 29, 2008 Well my poor tyres are becoming rather bald ( not sure why ;) ) lol so its time for some new ones, also my rims arent looking too cool anymore so i was thinking if i should go for a full wheel tyre package?? or should i just buy new tyres and refurb my current rims??? you will find my current rims on ere http://www.ukstarletclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=9283 thoughts??My current rims are 14" and i havent a clue what make they are, they just say speeder competition on them??? any ideas who they are made by??if i dont refurb these i will probly go for rota grids in 15" white, will these decrease acceleration at all? also i heard the finish on rotas doesnt last very long?? also will they rub on the arches anywhere??so peeps theres my thoughts about what to do so what would you do? and any help on the make of the wheels i currently have will be a great help cheers starlybruiser Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Guest Enzo Posted May 2, 2008 Share Posted May 2, 2008 hey bud as long as you get the right aspect ratio tyres for your new 15s you should not nock out your gear ratio.195/45/15s or for confort 195/50/15s are the size of tyres you should be after,ive never seen those rims before that you have on your car, they look funky in a standard way.your new wheels wont rub on the arches if you stick to the right offset of between +40 +38. and remember the pcd of the alloys your buying should be 4x100 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
