i have been looking at buying a glanza or just putting a new engine in my N/A (want more power)

how much would a engine be ? or would it be cheaper buying a glanza

could trade my car in aswell.

does any 1 kno any websites to buy glanzas from?

fensport do everything you need for the conversion for 1300ish + vat, i also asked toby about doing it on mine, and it was around 2000 with all the parts and labour so not that bad...imo

How old are you aswell, as glanza insurance is a mission....

if you want a good engine go to fensport, if i can remember they are 425 without VAT but they will give it you without vat if you pay cash and pick it up

or.....

toby will do a conversion including evrything for about 2k...

i rang up fensport its 1250 for the glanza turbo engine which seems fairly decent to me.

thing is there not getting any in till the end of the year now ;) sold out which is a bugger.i really want the 4EFTE engine seems like a beast.

Or you could find a crashed GT/Glanza that has body/chassis damage and just take the engine out of it.

Obviously easier said than done, but it's just another option.

fensport also do rebuild engines which they have in stock for £150 without vat or delivery ( approx £240 including ) and then spend the money you saved and a lil bit extra on forging it.... or rebuild it using someones used unwanted oem pistons and rods when they forge if you want to save some £'sss

that aint a to bad price imo for a full conversion...however labour may be quite a bit, but you could do it yourself....

i think its a good price to just the problem of actually getting one thow.

i have emailed toytunning to see what the crack would be bout the glanza engine.

Insurance is gonna love you! Not many insure engine swaps cheaply.

Save youself the hassle and just buy a Glanza if you can get insured on it.

well they aint different, they might be picky in finding a glanza, then taking the engine out of that...even though they could get one out of a GT...depends if they are being anal.

You got more chance of finding a GT breaking than a Glanza

Theres usually some floating around on ebay from time to time so keep em peeled

There is a good seller on ebay who sells decent 4EFTEs for £525 delivered. My brother bought one for his GT and I would recommend the seller to others

theres a rear accident damaged gt on pistonheads for 800 quid i think...considering you can get all the engine, loom, gearbox, ecu, axle and everything else from it thats cheap ...you could then do the swap yourself or getsomeone to do it for you...
