tucka Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 well basicaly i work for hullcity football club and becuase we reached the premiership i receive a bonus at the end of this month of £1100 from my work!!! ;) so i want to spend this on the car on perfomance mods, as my engine is pritty much stock apart from the apexi power fc ecu and optional boost controller and hks exhaust hi silent power, and a rex tmic,so want some more engine upgrades before i get it mapped.my turbo oil seals have gone so i either want to run a ct9hybrid setup and get a new mani and fmic. or maybe if i could find a good turbo kit thats in my price range? i dont get the money till the 28th of this month so got some time to find the right kitso what do you guys recomend?cheerstucka Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Should be good, with your ECU you could probably max out a hybrids output, so 220-230hp atf. K26 would be epic. ecksjay Posted June 4, 2008 Share Posted June 4, 2008 More likely to fail? have you ever heard of a toyota fuel pump dying? i know i haven't. either way, 255's are overkill, massive overkill. if they're used in 500bhp skylines, then they're rather overkill on a starlet.the holiday sounds like a good idea mate. personally i'd stick it in an isa or something and sit on it for a while, put it towards something ube like a house deposit or a bloody good holiday - the misses would surely like either of those.Arb's do make such a difference, ideally you want noticable increases for as little as possible, listen to the guys above, except for the ones that are talking shit. you have my permission to kick them in the scrot.
